Responsibilities
Master Data Steward (MRO)
Big company opportunity. Small company attitude. Discover just right.
At Post Consumer Brands, our purpose is to make lives better by making delicious food accessible for all and great data helps make that possible.
As a Master Data Steward (MRO), you'll be the visible, action-oriented engine behind master data governance for MRO items by helping ensure our systems, processes, and teams can rely on accurate, consistent data every day.
About the Role
Master Data Stewards are the primary point of responsibility, accountability, and activity for assessing, improving, and maintaining critical data assets.
In this role, you'll create, edit, and manage MRO master data while partnering closely with Maintenance, Operations, Procurement, and IT to support enterprise initiatives dependent on clean, synchronized data.
You're not the "owner" of the data, you're the trustee, ensuring governance rules are followed so data can effectively support business processes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain MRO item master data (setup, edits, governance, and ongoing management) within master data applications.
  • Manage data control processes for MRO items to support system integrity and consistency.
  • Capture and monitor key business data rules within business systems; help ensure rules are followed and visible.
  • Monitor and track data quality regularly; identify root causes and recommend optimal approaches to resolve issues.
  • Support Data Owners in resolving data quality issues and amplify wins to build enterprise engagement in data governance.
  • Partner cross-functionally (Maintenance, Operations, IT, Procurement) to develop, manage, and implement a prioritized portfolio of key projects.
  • Serve as SME/Super User for the MRO item setup process tool; support troubleshooting, enhancement requests, and adoption.
  • Create and deliver training on MRO requirements, processes, and tools; build capability across the enterprise and develop backup coverage.
  • Act as the business + system liaison for MRO data (e.g., help desk tickets, problem-solving, escalations, system updates, and testing).
  • Support rollouts of new functionality, configurations, capabilities, and reports within Infor EAM in partnership with sites and the enterprise team.
  • Support the MRO upload utility to efficiently upload vendor/manufacturer/parts information and related item details.
  • Support onboarding steps for new employees using SailPoint (as applicable to process access).
  • Champion MRO item processes across the enterprise-partnering with sites to drive maintenance process improvements.

Qualifications
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in a technical or financial field (e.g., science, finance, accounting, purchasing, maintenance).
  • 2+ years of experience in master data processing and ERP systems.
  • Must be able to respond remotely to off-hour technical or data support using PCB-issued technology and software.

Preferred Experience
  • Experience in MRO and Maintenance strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of end-to-end business requirements for key data; exposure to data quality and best practices is advantageous.
  • JDE and Infor EAM experience is a plus.

Skills That Help You Thrive Here
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability, strong organization, and priority-setting skills.
  • Analytical and process-oriented mindset with data management/taxonomy expertise.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based environment across multiple functional groups.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills: able to translate complexity into clear guidance.
  • Ability to execute multiple simultaneous projects, meet deadlines, and communicate progress consistently.
  • Ability to train others in detailed, systematic work processes and adapt processes to a changing IT/business environment.

Why You'll Love This Role
  • Your work will be visible and meaningful, central to improving and maintaining critical data that powers day-to-day operations.
  • Big scope, real impact: partner with enterprise and site teams to improve maintenance reliability processes using clean MRO data as the foundation.
  • Strong resources + a culture that values your contribution. Big opportunities with a small-company attitude, so you can do your best work and see your impact.
  • A place where you can grow: expand your expertise across data governance, ERP/EAM tools, and cross-functional process improvement.

Location
  • Location: Lakeville, MN - Hybrid, onsite requirement of 3 days a week.

Ready to Make an Impact?
If you're energized by building trust in data, improving business processes, and partnering with teams to make things work better, this is your moment.
