Job description


The Contingent Plan is actively recruiting a senior data analyst for a global company in the Auburn Hills area. This is a hybrid role with some need to be in the office. The contract position is expected to last 9 months at this time. The role is an immediate need and the client will move quickly with the right candidate. Sorry, no sponsorship is available at this time.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Serve as link between data, systems, and provide process support for system SMEs to gain input/knowledge on key systems data
โ€ข Develop functional requirements for system spilt
โ€ข Understand and evaluate IT proposals to perform functional/logical or physical split
โ€ข Provide functional support to internal IT (for homegrown systems) and IT providers (for 3rd party software
โ€ข Define and perform testing scenarios for split systems: functionalities Escalate to SME in case of need
โ€ข Work with big sets of master data and split them up between business units according to the agreed split criteria/rules
โ€ข Meet project milestones
โ€ข Work closely with the PM, SME, Global leads, and third party Software Vendors' technical resources.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in data analytics, data science, or systems management
  • Prior experience working with global companies and geographically dispersed teams
  • Advanced understanding of data management and visualization practices
  • Able to be in the office 2 to 3 days a week
  • Capable of completing the engagement
  • Able to pass all required background checks
