A major medical client of Aquent is seeking a Master Data Management Analyst to support Supply Chain Logistics & Sourcing through a comprehensive understanding of Master Data Management, Logistics, and Sourcing operational and business needs. This position requires a thorough understanding of MDM concepts, industry data standards, and healthcare supply chain operations. The Master Data Management Analyst collaborates with Information Technology Services (ITS), Operational Managers, and external vendors to ensure consistent data management and accurate information flow to support core enterprise functions, including Supply Chain Automation, inventory management, vendor and recall management, and Non-Labor Spend Savings initiatives. This individual will work under the direction of the Supply Chain Data Manager.
What You Will Do
Data Maintenance & Integrity
  • Function as the primary point of contact for the day-to-day execution of MDM tasks, answering inquiries, resolving data discrepancies, and providing analysis.
  • Perform master data additions, changes, and deletions in strict accordance with standard procedures and governance business rules.
  • Filter, cleanse, and audit data, reviewing data performance indicators to locate and correct process gaps or systemic errors.
  • Conduct quality control activities, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for data accuracy, and recommend improvements to data integrity policies, tools, and metrics.
  • Ensure all requests for master data maintenance are properly authorized and approved by designated Data Owners.

Sourcing, Pricing, & Vendor Support
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date price file management in accordance with active vendor contracts.
  • Perform proactive and ad hoc price performance benchmarking and analysis.
  • Design and maintain an organized system for Pricing Agreements to ensure absolute price accuracy across item files and Purchase Orders (POs), partnering with Accounts Payable to validate vendor file accuracy.
  • Support vendor and medical recall management by ensuring strict data adherence to industry and regulatory standards.
  • Support non-labor expense reduction initiatives through comprehensive Item Master and PAR (periodic automatic replenishment) data management.

Systems Liaison & Reporting
  • Serve as a liaison between business managers and ITS to improve productivity, resolve system issues, implement functionality changes, and deliver enhanced data quality.
  • Evaluate business application functionality to identify operational gaps and measure the impact of technical solutions on clinical supply chain operations.
  • Assist in developing, maintaining, and running scheduled or ad hoc operational reports, collecting user feedback to design future reporting specifications.
  • Educate and onboard system users regarding master data processes and established business rules.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university is required.

Experience
  • Four (4) years of progressively responsible and directly related data management experience, preferably within a hospital or healthcare clinical environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency and hands-on experience utilizing enterprise-level ERP Supply Chain applications (such as Workday or Infor Lawson).
  • Proven ability to cleanse, analyze, manipulate, and connect large datasets from multiple disparate sources.
  • Solid understanding of Master Data Management principles and governance practices in an enterprise environment.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Analytical Skills: Strong knowledge of automated materials management functions, financial reporting, and statistical activity data.
  • Contractual Knowledge: Ability to understand, draft, and analyze Contractual Agreements and Pricing Agreements.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional oral and written communication skills; ability to work effectively as both an individual contributor and a team leader.
  • Relationship Management: Proven capacity to manage complex, professional relationships with critical external vendor partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Customer Service: Ability to remain sensitive to the needs of clinical and operational customers through quality service principles.
  • Change Management: Knowledge of project management processes and the ability to help plan and implement workflow changes.
  • Certifications: None required.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $68 to $74 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
