We are seeking a Data Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams by translating business requirements into data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience working with large datasets, and the ability to gather, document, and validate business requirements. Experience with SAP is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and data requirements.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and data mapping documents.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, data quality issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Collaborate with data engineering, development, reporting, and QA teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and testing to ensure accuracy and completeness of data solutions.
  • Develop and maintain business process documentation, data dictionaries, and reporting requirements.
  • Support data migration, integration, and transformation initiatives across multiple systems.
  • Create dashboards, reports, and KPI metrics to support business decision-making.
  • Facilitate meetings with business users and technical teams to drive project execution and resolve issues.
  • Assist with change management, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production support activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Data Business Analyst.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience querying and analyzing data from relational databases.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
  • Strong understanding of data flows, data mapping, and data governance concepts.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP (SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, SAP HANA, or related modules).
  • Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data integration concepts.
  • Experience working with cloud-based data platforms.
  • Knowledge of data quality, master data management, and governance frameworks.
