Summary
Join a highly visible team focused on strengthening enterprise resiliency across BOK Financial. As part of the Business Continuity and Resiliency program, you'll partner directly with lines of business and senior leadership to ensure critical operations can continue during disruption-playing a key role in protecting customers, meeting regulatory expectations, and enabling the organization to operate effectively in high-pressure situations.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of strategy and execution-building continuity plans, leading testing efforts, and working closely with business leaders to drive preparedness. You'll have direct exposure to executive stakeholders and the opportunity to influence how the organization prioritizes risk, recovery, and resiliency. If you're looking for meaningful impact, strong business partnership, and visibility into enterprise-level decision-making, this is a great opportunity to grow your influence.
Job Description
As a Business Continuity & Resiliency Consultant, you will partner with assigned lines of business to design, implement, and continuously improve business continuity and resiliency plans. You'll work closely with stakeholders to understand critical services, assess risk, and ensure recovery strategies are aligned to business priorities and regulatory expectations.
This role combines analytical, advisory, and execution-focused work. You'll lead business impact assessments, develop recovery strategies, and guide teams through testing and real-world scenarios to ensure readiness. You'll also play a key part in evolving the program toward more risk-based planning and scenario-driven testing, helping the organization strengthen resiliency across critical business services and dependencies.
Team Culture
You'll join a collaborative, business-facing team that operates as a trusted partner across the organization. Success in this environment comes from building strong relationships, influencing without direct authority, and helping business leaders navigate complex challenges.
The team places a strong emphasis on ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement. You'll have regular interaction with senior leaders, and the opportunity to support conversations that shape priorities across the organization giving you exposure across multiple lines of business. It's a strong fit for someone who enjoys working independently while staying closely connected to the business and driving meaningful outcomes.
How You'll Spend Your Time
  • Partner: Build relationships with assigned lines of business to understand operations, risks, and recovery requirements
  • Assess: Lead business impact analyses and identify critical services, dependencies, and resiliency gaps
  • Plan: Develop and maintain continuity plans, recovery procedures, and playbooks aligned to business and regulatory expectations
  • Test: Design and facilitate scenario-based exercises and testing to build readiness and "muscle memory" across teams
  • Advise: Provide guidance to stakeholders on risk, recovery strategies, and program requirements while influencing outcomes without direct authority
  • Improve: Drive continuous improvement by identifying gaps, monitoring remediation efforts, and supporting the evolution toward risk-based planning and testing

Education & Experience Requirements
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Crisis Management, Business Administration, Risk Management, or related field and 5+ years of related experience in business continuity program management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred: Working towards or achieved a relevant business continuity certification, such as Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP), Member of the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI), or a related credential.
  • Advanced understanding of business impact and GAP analysis; ability to develop and implement short- and long-term continuity and recovery strategies and track progress toward gap remediation
  • In-depth experience designing, executing, and evaluating business continuity/resiliency testing and training programs
  • Strong knowledge of business continuity, disaster recovery, and emergency management leading practices in the Financial Services industry, with ability to develop strategies to sustain critical operations
  • Strong understanding of business continuity regulatory requirements within the Financial Services industry
  • Solid knowledge of security and IT system change control processes
  • Ability to leverage AI, automation, data, and digital tools to enhance risk analysis, identify trends and emerging risks, and strengthen continuity/resiliency processes while aligning with risk frameworks and regulatory expectations
