The Institute of Beauty and Wellness is seeking a Massage Therapy Instructor to train, educate, and develop the next generation of massage professionals at our Madison campus. The Institute of Beauty and Wellness is committed to creating a learning environment that is caring, compassionate and dedicated to uplifting others. As instructors, we provide our students the best possible service regarding education, support, direction and feedback.
Job Functions:
  • Teach core curriculum including Anatomy & Physiology, Kinesiology, & Body Work Theory
  • Coach and provide feedback to further growth and development
  • Prepare students for state license exams
  • Inspire professionalism and strong work ethic as is required in the service industry
  • Implement company systems and standards
  • Learn Aveda products and services and then train students to the products and protocols

Job Skills, Education and Experience:
  • State of Wisconsin Massage Therapy license
  • 2 years of experience as a practicing professional and experience in a health-related field OR 2 years of post-secondary education/training
  • Teaching, training or leadership experience
  • Appreciation of the Beauty and Wellness Industries
