Program Description:
This role will be supporting the U.S. Fleet Forces Command (USFF) Headquarters (HQ) at USFF Norfolk, Virginia at a Government facility/site. As a member of their USFF Communications and Information Systems Division (N6) Support Team, you will significantly contribute to Navy Fleet Readiness and Homeland Security. The team is involved in information technology (IT) support tasks including but are not limited to Program Management support, Network Engineering support, Maritime Operations Center/Tactical Systems support, Video Teleconferencing and Audio/Visual support, Portal Management and Application Development support, Staff IT Business Process/IT Services support, Satellite Communications Planning support, Information Assurance (IA)/Certification and Accreditation support, Database Administration support, Communications Security/EKMS support, and general IT support, as well as maintenance, updating and enhancement of developed application/software.
Job Responsibilities:
โ€ข Provide systems operations and maintenance support for the full array of MOC tactical systems.
โ€ข Manage the Information Systems required for Joint and Coalition operations within the CTF-80 AOR
โ€ข Develop and update process guides/Standard Operating Procedures.
โ€ข Maintain the systems utilized to provide the Maritime Global Common Operational Picture (G-COP) of all Naval forces in support of U.S. Northern Command for Homeland Defense.
โ€ข Provide 24x7 on-call technical support as related to operational support of the USFF MOC.
Job Requirements:
โ€ข BA/BS in related field and 6 years of specific MOC systems experience, or AA/AS in related field 8 years of specific MOC systems experience. In lieu of formal education, 12 years of specific MOC systems experience.
โ€ข Subject Matter Expert for Global Command & Control System Maritime & Joint (GCCS-M/J), Maritime Security Safety Information System (MSSIS), Maritime Command Control Information System (MCCIS), Automatic Identification System/ Maritime Air Surface Surveillance (AIS/MASS), Missile Defense Planning System (MIPS), Falcon View, Stone Ghost, Distributed Common Ground System-Navy (DCGS-N), Radiant Mercury, Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System (J/ADOCS), Tomahawk Command Control System (TC2S), Tomahawk Strike Network (TSN) and Strike Over Secret-Tunnel (SOS-T). In-depth knowledge of CND compliance requirements for all managed systems.
โ€ข In-depth knowledge of the Defense Information Systems Agency published STIG requirements and implementation/compliance process
โ€ข In-depth knowledge and experience with server and storage virtualization, i.e. Microsoft Hypervisor and VMWare vSphere.
โ€ข In-depth knowledge and experience in maintaining Linux Servers and its associated services.
โ€ข Must have an active TS/SCI clearance.
