Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Shift Openings:

  • Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

  • Night Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated, compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our clinical team on the 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Afternoon) and 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night) shifts.

As a CNA at Martha Franks, you will provide essential hands-on care, assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), and work collaboratively with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to maintain a safe, comfortable, and dignity-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Resident Care: Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and mobility assistance.

  • Vital Signs & Monitoring: Take and record vital signs, observe changes in resident condition or physical status, and report observations promptly to the nurse on duty.

  • Call Light Response: Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance in accordance with community standards.

  • Safety & Hygiene: Conduct regular resident rounds, sanitize resident areas, and strictly follow universal precautions and infection control protocols.

  • Support & Documentation: Assist with resident admissions, transfers, and discharges, maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state guidelines and community policy.

Qualifications
  • Licensure: Active Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in good standing with the State of South Carolina.

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.

  • Experience: Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or senior living is preferred (newly certified CNAs are encouraged to apply!).

  • Skills: Strong communication, empathy, physical stamina, and a genuine passion for working with senior adults.
