Job description

Marsh USA LLC is seeking candidates for the following full-time position based in the Dallas, TX office (A hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with company policies.):

                                                Client Advisor

We will count on you to:

Consult with clients on their insurance service requirements, needs, and carriers, providing advice on emerging Marsh broking products and market conditions that impact insurance coverage. Serve as a subject matter expert, leading large-scale projects, coaching team members, and solving complex problems. Serve as the lead advisory colleague on medium-sized or moderately complex accounts. Collaborate with senior brokers and internal teams to meet client insurance needs and market demands, assisting senior brokers with complex client assignments. Cultivate a deep understanding of clients’ strategic business priorities, risk strategies, and risk management needs to provide bespoke advice. Review clients’ exposures and loss experience to develop solutions for moderately complex insurance needs, including recommending additional products and services. Coordinate the production of client deliverables, monitoring delivery and invoicing to ensure the quality of materials provided to the client. Present, develop, and execute bespoke insurance renewal and placement strategies in collaboration with Placement, Advisory Leaders, and Client Executives. Build and maintain relationships with clients and act as the primary point of contact to service more complex insurance needs, including participating in presentations to prospective clients, identifying need for new products, and developing and suggesting innovative solutions to clients and client teams to secure new clients and projects.

What you need to have: 

Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field plus five (5) years of experience in the multinational commercial property insurance space in the position offered, or a related position. Must have five (5) years of experience with all of the following:  Working in the field of claims or in a role that assists/consults clients in navigating property claims; Advising clients on the development and execution of comprehensive property insurance strategies for Fortune 500 companies and multinational risk portfolios; Providing technical and commercial guidance on property insurance terms, conditions, limits, risk engineering recommendations, and pricing negotiations for high-hazard or challenging occupancies; Supporting business development efforts by providing technical expertise and insurance strategy input for prospective clients; Advising clients on prioritizing and implementing risk engineering recommendations issued by insurers to optimize insurance program structure, reduce premiums, and secure favorable renewal terms; Assisting and guiding clients through the property insurance claims process, including claim presentation, documentation strategy, and ongoing coordination with insurers to ensure timely payment; Providing claims support for commercial insurance programs, including programs involving captive insurance structures. 10% domestic and international travel is required to various and unanticipated company and client sites.
