Job Description
Olympic/MMA is seeking a motivated and client-focused Associate Account Executive (AAE) to join our Business Insurance team in Simi Valley, California office. This role will specialize in serving clients within the real estate and manufacturing sectors, providing comprehensive insurance solutions that protect their assets and support their business growth.
As an Associate Account Executive, you will work closely with senior brokers and underwriters to manage client relationships, support account servicing, and contribute to business development efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven insurance professional to grow their career within a leading global risk management and insurance brokerage firm. Key Responsibilities
  • Support the management and growth of client accounts in the real estate and manufacturing industries, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of tailored commercial insurance solutions, including property, liability, workers' compensation and other relevant coverages.
  • Collaborate with brokers, underwriters, and internal teams to analyze client risk profiles and recommend appropriate insurance products.
  • Prepare and review insurance proposals, policy documents, and renewal submissions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in EPIC and MMA systems.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and resolve service issues with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Support sales initiatives by identifying opportunities for account growth and cross-selling additional insurance products.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions affecting the real estate and manufacturing sectors in California.
  • Obtain and maintain required insurance licenses and pursue relevant professional certifications.

Qualifications
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in commercial insurance account management or client service, preferably within the real estate or manufacturing industries.
  • Experience with Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance products and commercial lines underwriting.
  • Familiarity with California insurance regulations and market dynamics is a plus.

Licenses & Certifications:
  • California Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
  • Professional designations such as CIC, CPCU, ARM is advantageous.

Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products relevant to real estate and manufacturing clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks and interpret insurance policies.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Applied EPIC management system.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $49,400 to $105,400. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
