The Power of M Marriott Hotel is seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our Traveling Task Force team in Ft Lauderdale, FL. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy dynamic work environments and are passionate about delivering exceptional guest service while supporting multiple Marriott properties on a traveling assignment basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive first impression of the Marriott brand.
• Check guests in and out efficiently, handling all necessary documentation and payment processing accurately.
• Provide detailed information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to enhance guest experience.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally and promptly, escalating issues when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and transactions using Marriott’s property management system.
• Support the hotel’s operational needs by traveling to various Marriott properties as assigned, adapting quickly to new environments and teams.
• Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth hotel operations.
• Adhere to Marriott’s brand standards, policies, and procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a front desk or guest service role within the hospitality industry preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Flexibility to travel and work at different Marriott properties as part of the Traveling Task Force.
• Proficiency with property management systems and basic computer skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest concerns with professionalism and tact.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional hospitality training or certification is a plus.

Work Environment

This position requires travel to various Marriott hotel locations, primarily within the Ft Lauderdale area and potentially beyond. The role involves standing for extended periods, working shifts that may include nights, weekends, and holidays, and interacting with a diverse range of guests and team members.
