What Success Looks Like: Your Impact

  • Possesses a working knowledge of the front desk, efficiently handling the check-in and checkout processes according to hotel procedures and standards.
  • Be knowledgeable and proficient with Marriott management system such as Lightspeed and GXP.
  • Operate the PBX and Radio paging system according to procedures.
  • Establishes appropriate credit at time of guest check-in; issues room keys and familiarizes guests with the services and areas of the property.
  • Manages guest issues effectively, keeping in mind both the guest's needs and business objectives.
  • Use discretion and professionalism in resolving guest conflicts and use good judgement to consult with management if assistance or follow-up is needed.
  • Conduct adequate follow-up with both guest and fellow team members.
  • Makes restaurant, transportation, activity, or entertainment reservations on behalf of the guest.
  • Weekend availability required.

What You Bring

  • 1+ year of front desk hospitality experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in cash handling & computerized Point of Sale system preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
  • WA MAST Certified.

Where you'll work:

In the new heart of Woodinville the beauty of the Pacific Northwest meets its newest destination, The SOMM Hotel and Spa. The SOMM is set to be the centerpiece of a 20-acre master-planned development in Woodinville, Washington.

The SOMM Hotel and Spa is a 164-room luxury hotel that will offer a blend of upscale accommodations and amenities. The project is part of Harvest, a town square-style development that will house nearly 100,000 square feet of restaurants, bars, wine-tasting rooms, and recreation. It also includes hundreds of apartments and townhouses, making it a comprehensive destination in its own right.

The hotel itself is designed to be a haven of comfort and indulgence. It features a signature restaurant, rooftop bar, 10,000 sq ft of meeting spaces, and a 5,661-square-foot spa. Additionally, there will be 9,000 square feet of retail space that will complement the hotel's offerings. This retail section is expected to include wine-tasting rooms, restaurants, and other facilities.
