This position supports five separate hotels that comprise Marriott IndyPlace: JW Marriott Indianapolis, Marriott Indianapolis Downtown, Courtyard by Marriott, SpringHill Suites by Marriott, and Fairfield by Marriott.

Summary

The Senior Marketing Manager drives demand and revenue for hotel and restaurant outlets by developing and executing strategic, multi-channel marketing initiatives. This role blends creativity with analytics, partnering closely with Sales, Revenue Management, and Food & Beverage teams to align marketing strategies with business goals and deliver measurable results.


What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies across digital, social, email, PR, and on-property channels.
  • Manage brand positioning, messaging, and online presence, including website updates and guest-facing platforms.
  • Oversee social media strategy and content creation, directly or in partnership with agencies.
  • Plan, execute, and analyze email marketing campaigns to drive engagement and revenue.
  • Collaborate on marketing calendars, ensuring alignment with property goals and seasonal initiatives.
  • Analyze campaign performance and build monthly reports to track KPIs and ROI.
  • Identify and activate local partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising opportunities.
  • Serve as the on-property brand liaison, supporting events, activations, and programming.
  • Partner with Sales, Rooms, and F&B teams to develop and promote offers and experiences.
  • Attend Revenue and F&B meetings to identify opportunities and align strategies.
  • Support creative development for digital and print materials using tools like Canva or Adobe platforms.
  • Manage relationships with agencies, vendors, and partners to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
