Job description

The Marketing Communications Lead is responsible for planning and executing integrated marketing communications programs that drive awareness, engagement and qualified lead generation across priority vertical markets. This role owns the execution of campaigns across content, media relations, digital and social channels, events and tradeshows, ensuring consistent brand messaging and measurable impact.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Campaign Execution
  • Develop and execute multi-channel lead generation campaigns aligned to business and vertical market priorities.
  • Collaborate with strategic marketing and sales to align messaging, value propositions and campaign timing.
  • Partner with sales and marketing technology team to ensure strong lead flow, campaign attribution and performance reporting.
  • Optimize campaigns based on data, insights and market feedback.

Media & Public Relations
  • Lead proactive media relations strategy, including press releases, story pitching, and thought leadership placement alongside agency of record.
  • Build and maintain relationships with trade media, industry publications and external partners.
  • Support executive visibility and brand reputation initiatives.

Social Media & Digital Channels
  • Own social media strategy and execution across priority platforms, ensuring consistent voice, global brand alignment and engagement.
  • Lead the team in developing content calendars -- overseeing publishing and monitoring performance trends.

Trade Shows & Events
  • Lead the planning and execution of trade shows, conferences and speaking engagements, from strategy through post-event reporting.
  • Partner with internal teams and vendors to deliver cohesive messaging, booth experiences and promotional programs.
  • Track event ROI and contribution to pipeline.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Brand Stewardship
  • Ensure all communications align with corporate brand guidelines and messaging frameworks.
  • Work cross-functionally to develop dynamic content focused on ideal customer profiles-enabling successful, targeted campaigns.
  • Manage agency and vendor relationships as needed.

Travel Expectations: up to 15% (mostly to tradeshows and customer sites)
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations or a related field
  • 5-8 years of experience in marketing communications, demand generation or B2B marketing.
  • Proven experience leading integrated campaigns across digital, media and events.
  • Strong writing, storytelling and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while leading and mentoring a team.
  • Previous experience in HubSpot or other marketing automation tools required.
  • Experience with CRM systems a plus.
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, logistics or technology industries preferred.
