Job description

Group 1001 is a consumer-centric, technology-driven family of insurance companies on a mission to deliver outstanding value and operational performance by combining financial strength and stability with deep insurance expertise and a can-do culture. Group1001's culture emphasizes the importance of collaboration, communication, core business focus, risk management, and striving for outcomes. This goal extends to how we hire and onboard our most valuable assets - our employees.
Company Overview:
Gainbridge, a part of the Group 1001 enterprise, is a self-managed, innovative, digital platform providing its clients with direct access to trusted financial products to smartly grow their savings over time. Gainbridge strives to offer products through its platform that are simple, intuitive, and backed by smart technology with no complexity or hidden fees. Gainbridge empowers clients to take control of the financial future with simple solutions that are accessible to everyone no matter their budget.
What We're Looking For:
We are hiring a Senior Marketing Technology Engineer to drive the technical side of our entire marketing technology stack. You'll take an established stack, make it your own, keep it running, and build out what's missing. It's hands-on and senior: you work in the tools yourself, not through an agency or a team, as part of the MarTech Pod and alongside our Webflow developer and engineering.
Our stack spans customer data, engagement, analytics, experimentation, and consent, and it will keep growing. We are hiring for the ability to own and evolve that whole system, not for expertise in any single tool. You will work closely with marketing, product, and compliance, serving as the technical owner of how customer data is collected, connected, governed, and activated. Because we operate in regulated financial services, data governance and consent are core production requirements.
How You'll Contribute:
  • Own our CDP (Segment) end to end: tracking plans, identity resolution, destinations, and debugging in production.
  • Own how the stack fits together - how tools connect, how data and identity flow between them, and how the pieces stay coherent as the fleet grows.
  • Lead new-tool rollouts end to end: integration, instrumentation, and QA.
  • Ensure privacy and consent are correctly implemented and verifiable across tools as regulations and the toolset change.
  • Translate marketing, product, and compliance needs into reliable implementations, and flag when a request risks data quality or compliance.

The Stack:
The current fleet includes these tools below, and it will expand: Segment (CDP), Braze, Pendo, OneTrust, and GA4/GTM. Segment is the area where we need real depth.
What We're Looking For:
  • 5+ years hands-on in martech, marketing ops, or analytics implementation, owning tools in production.
  • Deep, production-level CDP experience: tracking plans, identity resolution, destination management (Segment preferred).
  • End-to-end ownership of a multi-tool stack: you understand how tools connect and how data and identity flow between them.
  • Hands-on experience with consent and privacy controls across marketing tools.
  • SQL, plus working comfort with JavaScript, APIs, and browser dev tools.
  • Confidence owning cross-functional relationships and explaining technical trade-offs to non-technical partners.

Nice to Have:
  • Regulated-industry experience (fintech, insurance, healthcare, or GDPR/CCPA in production).
  • Standing up or migrating a CDP.
  • Enough Webflow to cover routine site updates during a teammate's absence.

Compensation:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $140,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $160,000/year plus bonus in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Benefits Highlights:
Employees who meet benefit eligibility guidelines and work 30 hours or more weekly, have the ability to enroll in Group 1001's benefits package. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the Company's comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plan options. Employees are also eligible for Basic and Supplemental Life Insurance, Short and Long-Term Disability. All employees (regardless of hours worked) have immediate access to the Company's Employee Assistance Program and wellness programs-no enrollment is required. Employees may also participate in the Company's 401K plan, with matching contributions by the Company.
Group 1001, and its affiliated companies, is strongly committed to providing a supportive work environment where employee differences are valued. Diversity is an essential ingredient in making Group 1001 a welcoming place to work and is fundamental in building a high-performance team. Diversity embodies all the differences that make us unique individuals. All employees share the responsibility for maintaining a workplace culture of dignity, respect, understanding and appreciation of individual and group differences.
