The Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the execution and consistency of Sun East Federal Credit Union's marketing initiatives, with a primary focus on enhancing the in-branch experience and strengthening retail marketing efforts. JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES

Branch Merchandising/Retail Marketing Support

  • Manage the delivery, installation, rotation, and retirement of marketing signage, displays, and collateral in branches in alignment with campaign timelines and brand guidelines.
  • Serve as the primary marketing point of contact for branchโ€‘related requests by partnering with branch staff to fulfill approved merchandising, signage, and collateral needs, and ensuring timely communication and resolution of issues.
  • Support branch marketing operations by managing collateral inventory levels, monitoring usage trends, coordinating reorders, and tracking fulfillment of requests.
  • Operate, update, and support digital signage and inโ€‘branch communication tools, including monitors, display content, and audio messaging, in partnership with internal teams and vendors as needed.
  • Partner with the Sr. Creative Lead & Brand Administrator to support updates to branch merchandising guidelines and ensure consistent execution across locations.
  • Maintain awareness of marketing storage and supply inventory to support branch merchandising needs efficiently

Marketing Project Management

  • Own and administer Hive, the marketing project management platform, serving as the central system of record for all marketing projects, campaigns, and support requests. Ensure all work is accurately logged, prioritized, and visible so stakeholders have clear insight into scope, status, ownership, timelines, dependencies, and completion.
  • Manage marketing intake by reviewing incoming requests for completeness, clarity, and alignment with priorities; coordinating with stakeholders to clarify requirements; and ensuring work is properly scoped and scheduled before being accepted into active workflows.
  • Partner with marketing leadership to support prioritization of projects and campaigns based on business objectives, capacity, and timelines, and proactively flag workload conflicts, resource constraints, or risks that may impact delivery.
  • Actively manage project timelines by monitoring progress, tracking approvals, following up with team members, adjusting schedules as needed, and maintaining accurate project records to ensure deadlines are met or changes are communicated clearly and early.
  • Coordinate and facilitate project and campaign workflows across the marketing team and crossโ€‘functional partners, ensuring alignment across channels, audiences, and deliverables.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing project volume, cycle times, and recurring challenges, and recommending process enhancements to improve efficiency, throughput, and timeโ€‘toโ€‘market.

Marketing Data & CRM Support

  • Assist in maintaining data integrity within HubSpot by identifying, cleaning, and updating inaccurate or incomplete records.
  • Support ongoing CRM hygiene efforts, including duplicate management, field standardization, and basic list maintenance.
  • Partner with the marketing team to ensure campaign data is properly entered and structured to support effective execution and reporting.
  • Document data-related processes and support adherence to established data standards.
  • Escalate data issues or system limitations to Marketing leadership as needed.
  • Support ad hoc data cleanup initiatives tied to campaigns, reporting, or platform improvements.

Internal Communications & Intranet Management

  • Serve as the primary coordinator for internal marketing and communications in partnership with Marketing leadership, HR, and other departments.
  • Own the organization, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the Sun East intranet to ensure content is current, relevant, and easy for employees to access.
  • Coordinate and publish internal announcements, updates, and all-staff communications to reduce email redundancy and improve consistency and visibility.
  • Monitor intranet usage and employee feedback to recommend improvements to content structure, navigation, and communication processes.

General Marketing Needs

  • Assist with the production and execution of marketing materials across channels, including print, digital, and eventโ€‘related collateral.
  • Maintain familiarity with Sun East products, programs, and promotions to support accurate and effective marketing execution.
  • Provide backup support for select marketing functions, including social media posting, event support, basic website edits, photography, and coverage during peak periods or staff absences.
  • Coordinate logistical support for marketing activities such as events, promotional item ordering, vendor coordination, invoices, and general administrative needs.
  • Support team operations by crossโ€‘training on recurring processes and documenting or capturing key meeting notes for future reference.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Understand and complies with all state and federal regulations and laws. Ensures compliance with all governing regulations especially the Bank Secrecy Act requirements. Bank Secrecy Act knowledge will be determined by the employee's position and responsibility.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to perform work of a very physical nature including the ability to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift and otherwise move objects up to 50 pounds. Additionally, must be able to sit for extended periods of time, when necessary. Requires manual dexterity and visual ability (focusing on accuracy and thoroughness of visual material) to work at a computer terminal, utilize keyboard, telephone and other standard office equipment. Must be able to deliver and receive verbal communication. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle.

SKILLS AND/OR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and 1โ€“3 years of relevant professional experience in marketing, communications, or operational coordination.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders.
  • Aboveโ€‘average written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail, with the ability to clearly convey information to internal audiences and collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within and maintain marketing systems and platforms or the ability to quickly learn new tools.
  • Knowledge of financial services, credit unions, or regulated industries is a plus, as is experience supporting internal communications, marketing operations, or retail branch
  • Ability to accommodate occasional schedule flexibility for events, campaigns, or business needs, and willingness to support the team during peak periods.
  • A valid driver's license is required and ability to travel locally to branch locations as
