As the Senior Manager, Marketing Project Management, this role will oversee the project management function, manage and optimize Workfront as the team's primary project management system, and establish scalable processes that improve speed-to-market, visibility, stakeholder alignment, and execution quality. The Senior Manager will partner closely with Strategy, Creative, MarTech, Analytics, Digital, and business stakeholders to ensure complex, high-volume work is effectively managed from intake through delivery while maintaining alignment to business priorities, campaign goals, and departmental KPIs.
This role requires a strong operational leader with deep project management expertise, the ability to manage competing priorities across a matrixed organization, and a continuous improvement mindset. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, process-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable influencing cross-functional teams while building structure in a fast-paced, high-volume marketing environment.

Essential Duties and Tasks
  • Lead Performance Marketing Operations and Project Management Governance
    • Lead the overall project management operating model for Performance Marketing, ensuring all campaign, creative, analytics, MarTech, and tactical requests are effectively managed from intake through completion. Oversee prioritization, project planning, resource coordination, timeline management, stakeholder alignment, and delivery tracking across a high volume of complex marketing initiatives. Establish governance routines, operating cadences, and visibility tools that ensure work is aligned to business priorities and departmental goals.
  • Own Workfront Administration, Adoption, and Optimization
    • Serve as the business owner and subject matter expert for Workfront, ensuring the platform is configured, maintained, and optimized to support Performance Marketing workflows. Develop and refine templates, dashboards, request forms, reporting, project plans, automations, and intake processes to improve efficiency, transparency, and accountability. Champion Workfront adoption across the team and with cross-functional partners, ensuring consistent usage and accurate project visibility.
  • Drive Process Standardization and Continuous Improvement
    • Identify process gaps, bottlenecks, duplication, and workflow inefficiencies across the marketing execution lifecycle. Develop standardized playbooks, SLAs, RACI frameworks, intake criteria, approval workflows, and operational best practices that improve consistency and reduce friction. Partner with leaders across Strategy, Creative, MarTech, Analytics, and Digital to continuously optimize how work moves through the department.
  • Manage Risk, Stakeholder Communication, and Executive Visibility
    • Proactively identify project risks, scope changes, resource constraints, timeline conflicts, and operational blockers. Facilitate mitigation planning and escalation paths to keep work moving and ensure stakeholders have clear, timely, and actionable updates. Provide regular reporting on project status, throughput, capacity, SLA adherence, risks, and operational performance to Performance Marketing leadership.
  • Lead, Coach, and Develop the Project Management Team
    • Lead and develop a team of Project Managers responsible for managing marketing workstreams across Performance Marketing. Provide coaching, workload prioritization, performance feedback, and career development support. Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, accountability, attention to detail, and continuous improvement.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This role directly supervises Project Managers and is responsible for team leadership, workload management, coaching, performance management, process adherence, and professional development. The Senior Manager will ensure the project management team is equipped to manage high-volume, cross-functional work with consistency, urgency, and quality.
Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Project Management, Communications, or a related field required; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 7+ years of progressive project management, marketing operations, program management, or business operations experience, preferably in a marketing, digital, creative, MarTech, or performance marketing environment.
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience, including coaching, developing, and managing project management or operations professionals.
  • Advanced experience with Workfront or comparable project/work management platforms required.
  • Experience managing high-volume, cross-functional marketing workflows, including campaign development, creative production, digital initiatives, analytics requests, and/or MarTech projects.
  • PMP, Agile, Scrum, Lean, Six Sigma, or related project/process management certification preferred.

Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of marketing operations, project management methodologies, campaign execution workflows, and cross-functional delivery processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, high-volume project portfolios in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Advanced Workfront knowledge, including project templates, dashboards, reporting, request queues, custom forms, automation, and workflow optimization.
  • Proven ability to build scalable processes, define SLAs, implement governance, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach teams, influence stakeholders, and drive accountability without relying solely on authority.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate project details, risks, and operational performance into clear business updates.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong prioritization skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use operational metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Comfortable working across Strategy, Creative, MarTech, Analytics, Digital, and business teams to align execution to broader marketing and business goals.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, evolving environment and brings a proactive approach to solving operational challenges.
