Description

This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with both Marketing and Communications leadership, gain exposure to high-impact initiatives, and play a key role in improving how work gets done across the organization!

Location: Columbus, Ohio (hybrid role)
In-office:
3 days in office/2 days remote– collaborate, connect, and make an impact

Key Responsibilities

Project & Workflow Management

  • Oversee the marketing project portfolio, establishing priorities, allocating resources, and exercising independent judgment to ensure alignment with departmental objectives
  • Create project briefs for campaigns, initiatives, updates, and refreshes
  • Follow up with task owners to ensure deadlines are met and information is complete
  • Organize and facilitate weekly or biweekly project updates for leadership
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve marketing operational processes, workflows, and standards to increase organizational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Conduct regular audits of projects and files to maintain organization and efficiency

Marketing Operations & Support

  • Serve as administrator and operational lead for marketing systems, establishing best practices and recommending process enhancements
  • Assist with content organization, asset management, briefs, and photo libraries
  • Analyze marketing performance data and provide actionable recommendations to leadership to inform planning, budgeting, and strategic decisions
  • Support monthly and quarterly reporting, renewals, and campaign planning

Administrative & Executive Support

  • Maintain marketing and communications calendars for campaigns, launches, and events
  • Assist with managing vendor relationships, evaluating solutions, and making recommendations regarding tools, processes, and investments that support departmental operations
  • Recommend and implement operational improvements that impact marketing department efficiency and effectiveness

Company Intranet Support

  • Design and execute a process for annual internal content audit
  • Triage ServiceDesk tickets to help prioritize, resolve, and elevate intranet-related requests while ensuring compliance with communication standards and business requirements

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in marketing coordination, communications, operations, or project management
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience working with project management tools (Asana preferred)
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with metrics, reports, and administrative processes
  • Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset
  • Experience supporting leadership or executive teams is a plus
