WHAT YOU DO AT AMD CHANGES EVERYTHING

At AMD, our mission is to build great products that accelerate next-generation computing experiences—from AI and data centers, to PCs, gaming and embedded systems. Grounded in a culture of innovation and collaboration, we believe real progress comes from bold ideas, human ingenuity and a shared passion to create something extraordinary. When you join AMD, you’ll discover the real differentiator is our culture. We push the limits of innovation to solve the world’s most important challenges—striving for execution excellence, while being direct, humble, collaborative, and inclusive of diverse perspectives. Join us as we shape the future of AI and beyond.  Together, we advance your career.

THE ROLE:

AMD’s Cloud Business Group is looking for a highly organized, execution-focused Cloud GTM Program Manager to help scale high-impact go-to-market programs across hyperscale cloud service providers, neo-cloud partners, and ecosystem partners. In this role, you will sit at the center of cloud marketing operations, partner programs, content governance, events, and cross-functional execution—helping AMD bring compelling cloud solutions, campaigns, and customer experiences to market.

This is a high visibility role that works closely with Cloud Business Group GTM leads, global account management teams, cloud sell-out teams, Corporate Marketing, Legal, Web, Events, Digital/Social, Sales Enablement, procurement, and external agency partners to drive coordinated execution against AMD’s cloud priorities. This is a visible, cross-functional role for someone who enjoys turning strategy into operating rhythm, putting on impactful shows, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring programs are delivered on time, on message, and with measurable business impact.

THE PERSON:

The ideal candidate must be a proactive program leader who thrives in a high pace, cross-functional environment and brings a strong ownership mindset. You are good at what you do and are driven to do it well, with gusto.  You are comfortable managing operational details while staying connected to the broader business objective: accelerating adoption of AMD-powered cloud solutions and strengthening AMD’s presence across cloud partner ecosystems.

  • Highly organized, accountable, and able to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with strong attention to detail.

  • Is adept at driving execution with cross-functional stakeholders, including marketing, sales, legal, web, enablement, partner teams, and external agencies.

  • Strong communicator who can simplify complex inputs, create clear operating plans, and keep teams aligned on decisions, timelines, and deliverables – delivering milestones on time with style.

  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity, escalating blockers appropriately, and driving work to completion without heavy oversight.

  • Customer- and partner-minded, with an appreciation for cloud business models, hyperscaler ecosystems, and enterprise technology buying motions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own Market Development Fund (MDF) management and tracking, including request intake, stakeholder alignment, timely review, approval support, reimbursement tracking, and visibility to execution against CBG priorities, partner agreements, and business objectives.

  • Lead planning and execution for strategic cloud activations, including Customer Advisory Board programs and marquee customer events, in partnership with internal stakeholders and third-party agencies.

  • Partner with AMD Events teams to plan and execute cloud-focused industry moments such as AWS re:Invent, Google Cloud Next, Microsoft- and Azure-focused events, Oracle AI World and other priority cloud ecosystem events; travel as needed.

  • Oversee cloud content management across AMD-owned and external-facing channels, partnering with CBG GTM Managers, Legal, Web, and Sales Enablement Library teams to drive review, approval, publication, and refresh cycles for partner pages, blogs, campaign assets, and enablement materials.

  • Drive end-to-end program management for content and campaign readiness, ensuring cross-functional alignment on messaging accuracy, claims governance, validated performance claims, and publication-ready materials.

  • Manage external vendors and agency partners supporting cloud marketing programs, including procurement coordination, branded asset development, demo environment support, content production, quality control, and on-time delivery.

  • Maintain strong working relationships with AMD global account management teams and the Cloud Sell-Out team to align GTM priorities, coordinate execution, and support pipeline and revenue acceleration.

  • Collaborate with digital and social teams to amplify announcements, campaigns, partner launches, customer stories, and cloud thought leadership.

  • Establish and maintain program trackers, milestone plans, status reporting, decision logs, and operating rhythms that improve visibility, accountability, and execution quality across cloud GTM programs.

  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of autonomy, accountability, and execution excellence.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in program management, marketing operations, partner marketing, go-to-market execution, sales enablement, or business operations within a technology company, cloud provider, enterprise software/SaaS company, systems company, or ecosystem partner organization.

  • Exposure to public cloud, hyperscaler, neo-cloud, cloud marketplace, data center, AI infrastructure, or enterprise technology ecosystems.

  • Strong project/program management discipline, including milestone planning, risk tracking, stakeholder communications, executive-ready status updates, and follow-through on action items.

  • Experience managing MDF, co-marketing programs, partner campaigns, events, agency/vendor relationships, procurement workflows, or budget/request tracking.

  • Experience driving cross-functional content reviews, legal approvals, claims governance, web publishing, campaign asset development, or sales enablement readiness.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across global, cross-functional teams and with external partners.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple simultaneous programs with attention to detail, urgency, and a results-driven mindset.

  • Familiarity with customer advisory boards, executive events, industry conferences, digital/social amplification, partner launches, or integrated campaign execution is desired.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, program management, engineering, computer science, or a related field preferred.

  • Equivalent practical experience in cloud GTM, partner marketing, technology program management, or marketing operations will be considered.

  • Project management, cloud, marketing operations, sales enablement, or partner ecosystem certifications are desired but not required.

LOCATION:

Santa Clara, CA preferred. Seattle, WA and Austin, Tx may be considered.  Travel of 30%-50% may be required for cloud partner events, customer activations, internal planning sessions, and other events.

This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
