BODYBAR Pilates is a rapidly growing boutique fitness franchise delivering high-energy, community-focused reformer Pilates experiences nationwide. We are seeking a strategic, systems-oriented Director of Marketing Operations to lead the execution engine of the marketing department.
Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, this role is responsible for driving operational excellence across marketing planning, workflow management, campaign execution, and cross-functional alignment. The ideal candidate is a highly organized marketing operations leader who thrives on building scalable systems, improving team efficiency, and ensuring initiatives are delivered with clarity, accountability, and measurable impact.
What Youll Do:
Marketing Operations & Execution
  • Lead marketing planning and execution across campaigns, promotions, partnerships, retail launches, and franchisee-facing initiatives
  • Translate strategic direction into project plans, timelines, deliverables, and ownership across the marketing team
  • Serve as the operational lead across creative, digital, social, retail, and external partners to ensure alignment and on-time execution across all channels
  • Own and maintain the master marketing calendar, managing priorities, dependencies, and launch readiness
  • Oversee cross-channel execution for retail campaigns and product launches in partnership with retail and procurement teams
  • Build and manage a scalable marketing intake and prioritization system that balances internal and franchisee needs
Process Optimization & Performance Management
  • Develop workflows, systems, SOPs, and planning tools that improve execution efficiency and accountability
  • Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks across campaign development and cross-functional handoffs
  • Establish campaign tracking frameworks, timelines, ownership, and success metrics
  • Consolidate reporting and performance insights into executive-level summaries and actionable recommendations
  • Lead recurring campaign reviews and execution retrospectives to strengthen future delivery
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Alignment
  • Manage and support members of the marketing team through prioritization, coaching, and execution accountability
  • Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and operational excellence
  • Partner closely with Operations, Learning & Development, Franchise Development, Retail, and Procurement teams to align initiatives and execution plans
  • Serve as the escalation point for timeline conflicts, resource constraints, and execution challenges
  • Support the VP of Marketing by overseeing day-to-day execution and operational coordination
Vendor & Agency Coordination
  • Manage integrated timelines and deliverables across agency and vendor-supported initiatives
  • Establish clear expectations for scope, approvals, deadlines, and launch readiness
  • Ensure external deliverables align with campaign objectives and internal execution plans
What Were Looking For:
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field required; Masters degree preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing operations, project leadership, or cross-functional marketing management within a multi-location or franchise environment
  • Experience supporting franchise or consumer-facing brands strongly preferred
  • Proven success building scalable workflows, planning systems, and operational processes that improved team efficiency and execution quality
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management experience
  • Understanding of creative, digital, and social marketing functions and operational workflows
  • Prior people management experience required
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration platforms such as Asana, Monday.com, Google Workspace, and reporting tools including Power BI
