Job description

Life at UiPath

The people at UiPath believe in the transformative power of automation to change how the world works. We're committed to creating category-leading enterprise software that unleashes that power.

To make that happen, we need people who are curious, self-propelled, generous, and genuine. People who love being part of a fast-moving, fast-thinking growth company. And people who careโ€”about each other, about UiPath, and about our larger purpose.

Could that be you?

Your mission

We are seeking a Business Operations Project Manager - Marketing to support the operational backbone of the Marketing organization, with a primary focus on budget operations. This role manages the Marketing budget end to end, partners closely with Finance, Procurement, and Marketing business partners, and flexes to support broader operational rhythms across Marketing. The ideal candidate is highly organized, financially literate, an effective communicator, and treats AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) as a default work methodology. They can quickly absorb clear direction and apply structure and systems in an ambiguous environment.

What you'll do at UiPath

We are seeking a Business Operations Project Manager to support the operational backbone of the global Marketing organization, with a primary focus on budget operations. This role runs the Marketing budget cycle end to end, partners with Finance and Procurement, and owns the tooling that connects Marketing spend to the activities it funds. The ideal candidate is organized, financially literate, understands marketing fundamentals, and is skilled at operating in an ambiguous environment.

Key Responsibilities

Budget Operations

  • Run the Marketing budget cycle end to end: planning, tracking, reconciliation, and reporting.

  • Partner with Finance and FP&A on quarter close, accruals, forecasting, and variance analysis.

  • Deliver the recurring budget reporting cadence used by Marketing leadership.

  • Manage holdback tracking, investment triage, and budget transfer workflows.

  • Support Marketing teams through vendor and procurement workflows, partnering with Procurement.

  • Run the project plan, milestones, and dependencies for the annual budget cycle, surfacing blockers early.

Budget Systems and Spend-to-Activity Tooling

  • Administer Marketing's activity-level budget tracking application, including configuration, anomaly flagging, bug triage, and correct usage across teams.

  • Own an internal tool that connects budget records to marketing activities, and build out its feature set, including ROI and investment tracking.

  • Prioritize and deliver improvements to that tool based on Marketing needs.

  • Maintain the taxonomy and data structures that keep the budget-to-activity connection durable.

Automation and AI

  • Identify manual and repetitive work across the budget cycle and propose automation approaches.

  • Build and operate automations using AI tools and available platforms, partnering with the Automation Center of Excellence and IT where work requires enterprise-grade development or centralized governance.

  • Document what has been built and automated, including known limitations.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Partner with Marketing leaders, FP&A, Procurement, IT, and other functional teams on shared workflows.

  • Translate operational detail into clear, executive-level updates for Marketing leadership.

What you'll bring to the team

  • Experience

    • 4 or more years in business operations, marketing operations, finance operations, program management, or a similar role.

    • Demonstrated experience supporting budget management, financial planning, or finance partnership in a corporate setting.

    • Experience owning an internal tool or application, including deciding what to build next.

    • Track record of executing reliably against defined parameters, and of bringing structure to work that arrives undefined.

    • At least one example of measurable process improvement, with the before and after stated concretely.

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

AI and Tool Fluency

  • Has eliminated manual or repetitive work using AI or automation tooling.

  • Comfort using AI coding tools (Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) to extend an existing application, not only to draft and summarize.

  • Proficiency with Slack, Microsoft 365, and project tools (ClickUp, Jira, Asana, or similar).

Communication and Stakeholder Support

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the ability to operate confidently with senior stakeholders across Marketing, Finance, and Procurement.

  • Strong analytical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in B2B SaaS or technology marketing organizations.

  • Familiarity with marketing functions (demand generation, product marketing, field marketing, brand).

  • Experience with a budget or spend management platform (Allocadia, Planful, Anaplan, or similar).
