This internship takes place in the fall, typically beginning in late August or early September.

As a Marketing Intern,ย youโ€™llย supportย EveryMindโ€™sย Marketing team with a focus on digital storytelling, short-form video content, and day-to-dayย marketing operations.ย ย 

Schedule:ย Flexible, part-time (16-24 hours/week during business hours, Mโ€“F)ย 
Location:ย EveryMindย Headquarters, Rockville, MD (with hybrid opportunities)ย 

Key Responsibilitiesย 

  • Brainstorm and help develop short-form video content ideas for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.ย 

  • Assistย with recording video and photo content in-office and at program-related activitiesย 

  • Assistย with marketing administrative tasks, including content scheduling support, post tracking, and file organization.ย 

  • Help gather stories, quotes, and visuals that highlightย EveryMindโ€™sย programs, partnerships, and impact.ย 

  • Be open to appearing on camera andย participatingย in marketing content whenย appropriate.ย 

  • Managing event inventory: tracking supplies,ย placingย andย monitoringย orders, and updating records.ย 

  • Supporting outreach events: Adding approved events to the calendar, preparing materials, coordinating event briefs, and attending events if neededย toย representย the organization.ย 

  • Frequent travel between sitesย 

  • Assistingย volunteer engagement:ย participatingย in volunteer information sessions andย trainings, helping withย logistics, and sending communications to staffย and volunteers.ย

  • Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasksย 

  • Proficiencyย with Microsoft Office, Instagram, Facebookย 

  • Some in-person availability isย requiredย for content captureย 

  • Tech Savvy;ย comfortable using a smartphone for video and photoย recordingย 

  • Previousย customer serviceย experienceย preferred.ย Leadership qualitiesย are desirableย 

  • Reliable Transportation; will go toย regularย outreach eventsย ย
