Job description

Description
WHO WE ARE
Come join the company at the center of how the world adopts AI securely. Cyera's mission is to give enterprises the confidence to embrace AI safely - deciding exactly what it can see and do as it reaches deeper into the business. We started by solving the hardest problem in data security: finding and securing data faster and more precisely than anyone thought possible. That foundation is now the essential AI trust infrastructure for the Fortune 1000. We're hiring mission-driven talent to put those leaders at the center of our story.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Marketing Operations Manager, you'll play a key role in executing and optimizing the systems that power Cyera's marketing engine. You'll partner closely with Marketing, Revenue Operations, Sales, and cross-functional stakeholders to build and support campaigns, maintain data integrity, and improve the processes that drive pipeline growth.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building in Marketo, solving operational challenges, and finding opportunities to automate manual processes. You'll own the execution of marketing programs while helping improve the scalability, efficiency, and effectiveness of our marketing operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Marketing Automation & Campaign Operations
  • Build, QA, and launch Marketo programs across multiple campaign types, including demand generation, nurture, webinars, content syndication, field events, virtual events, paid media, and lifecycle campaigns.
  • Configure and maintain scalable program templates, tokens, operational programs, and smart campaign logic.
  • Clone and customize recurring campaign programs while maintaining consistency and operational standards.
  • Perform comprehensive pre-launch QA including sample sends, token validation, link testing, form validation, scoring triggers, suppression logic, and campaign flow testing.
  • Monitor active campaigns for deliverability, processing errors, sync issues, and overall campaign health.
  • Maintain Marketo program organization, naming conventions, folder structure, and operational documentation.

Database & Lead Management
  • Build and manage smart lists and static lists using persona, lifecycle stage, account attributes, geography, engagement, and behavioral data.
  • Partner with the Email Marketing team to support audience segmentation, list management, and campaign execution.
  • Manage suppression lists and ensure compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CCPA, and company privacy policies.
  • Support database hygiene initiatives including deduplication, normalization, and data quality improvements.
  • Assist in maintaining lead scoring, lifecycle, and routing programs while identifying opportunities for ongoing optimization.

Marketing Systems Administration
  • Create and maintain Marketo forms for landing pages, gated content, demo requests, webinars, and event registration.
  • Support Splash event pages and ensure all landing pages and registration experiences are fully tested prior to launch.
  • Troubleshoot Marketo-Salesforce sync issues and partner with Revenue Operations to resolve data discrepancies.
  • Assist with user support, troubleshooting, and day-to-day marketing operations requests.
  • Partner with the Marketing Operations team on platform enhancements, governance, and operational best practices.

Reporting, Process Improvement & Automation
  • Support campaign performance reporting and operational analytics.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows through automation, process optimization, and operational efficiencies.
  • Document processes, playbooks, and campaign standards to improve consistency across the Marketing organization.
  • Evaluate and leverage AI-powered tools and automation opportunities to improve campaign execution, reporting, and team productivity.
  • Stay current on marketing operations best practices, emerging technologies, and platform capabilities.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Marketing Operations, Marketing Automation, or a related marketing technology role, preferably in B2B SaaS.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Marketo experience, including program builds, smart campaigns, tokens, forms, operational programs, and templates.
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce CRM and the relationship between Leads, Contacts, Campaigns, Campaign Members, and Opportunities.
  • Experience troubleshooting Marketo-Salesforce sync issues and marketing automation workflows.
  • Experience building audience segmentation using smart lists, lifecycle stages, personas, geography, and behavioral data.
  • Familiarity with lead scoring, lead lifecycle management, lead routing, and campaign attribution concepts.
  • Working knowledge of email compliance regulations including GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CCPA, and opt-out management.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a disciplined approach to campaign QA and operational excellence.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience collaborating across Marketing, Sales, and Revenue Operations.
  • Experience documenting processes and developing scalable operational best practices.

Strongly Preferred
  • Marketo Certified Expert (MCE) certification.
  • Experience with Splash or another event management platform.
  • Experience working in a high-growth B2B SaaS or cybersecurity company.
  • Familiarity with UTM strategy, campaign tracking, attribution, and landing page optimization.
  • Experience supporting webinar platforms such as Zoom Webinars or Goldcast.
  • Experience working with content syndication vendors and lead ingestion workflows.
  • Experience with AI-powered marketing tools and workflow automation platforms.
  • Experience with data enrichment platforms such as ZoomInfo, Clearbit, or similar technologies.
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics, dashboards, and reporting tools.
  • Experience supporting integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns.

SUCCESS IN YOUR FIRST 90 DAYS
By the end of your first three months, you'll be well on your way to becoming a trusted partner to the Marketing and Revenue teams. Success in this role means you've built confidence in our systems, established strong cross-functional relationships, and are contributing to the execution and optimization of our marketing programs.
You'll be successful if you have:
  • Developed a strong understanding of Cyera's marketing technology stack, campaign processes, and lead lifecycle.
  • Independently built, QA'd, and launched Marketo programs across multiple campaign types with minimal oversight.
  • Become proficient in our Marketo-Salesforce integration and confidently troubleshoot common sync and operational issues.
  • Established yourself as a trusted partner to Demand Generation, Field Marketing, Revenue Operations, and the broader Marketing team.
  • Consistently delivered high-quality campaign execution through thorough QA, attention to detail, and operational excellence.
  • Identified and implemented at least one meaningful process improvement or automation that increased team efficiency or improved campaign execution.
  • Contributed to maintaining a healthy marketing database through proactive data hygiene and operational best practices.
  • Helped improve campaign reporting, documentation, or operational processes to support a more scalable marketing organization.
  • Demonstrated curiosity by learning our business, embracing new technologies-including AI-powered solutions-and continuously looking for ways to improve how we work.
