Job description

What's the role?

As a B2B Major Account Sales Executive you will be responsible for broadband products selling activities including Direct Sales (face to face), cold calling, Telemarketing and Canvassing (door to door selling) to Major accounts, Hotels and Government accounts.

How can you add value?

  • Meet broadband sales objectives by maintaining project list; discussing progress with Sales Manager; identifying obstacles in closing agreements; developing solutions to improve closing ratio.
  • Contact prospective customers through a combination of telephone and in person contacts, networking and referrals to acquire appointments. Identify potential new customers through cold calling and/or canvassing.
  • Make sales calls to resolves customer needs, gain information, and discuss viable solutions.
  • Craft a tailored, efficient telecommunications solution and sales plan for the account. Conducts product and services demonstrations and presentations to Medium and Large prospects.
  • Engage Business Sales Engineer in technical aspects of the sales cycle.
  • Assure the usage of metrics for business intelligence to justify our sales and have complete understanding of the market opportunities.
  • Close sale by demonstrating benefit to the customer; explaining costs involved; acquiring contract signatures and deposit on material services.
  • Write and submit accurate and timely orders following the established sales process.
  • Maintain broadband customer happiness by maintaining rapport with current accounts; evaluating service level; identifying and resolving problems; bringing up problems for appropriate resolutions; notifying senior management of potential service failures.
  • Provide broadband product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests at the sales call; crafting possible solutions and engaging Sales Engineer to craft solution, strive and meet customer needs.
  • Handle all elements of the account, including daily collaboration with the client and internal resources.
  • Provide ongoing strategy and consultation to customers to assist in their business goals.
  • Participate in trade shows, industry events and customer entertainment activities. Supports sales, promotional and corporate events representing the Company.
  • Handle all sales contract submission and approval to ensure accurate processing and implementation.
  • Report and track prospects, sales efforts, and customers interactions on the assigned territory.
  • Perform daily sales reports, visit reports, as requested by their supervisor, in order to obtain sales and cover all of the territory.
  • Complete in its entirety the sales service orders and other forms of sales, following the sales requirements and policies.
  • Process all sales daily through the Business Sales Processing Department providing all the vital information as established by the sales policies.
  • Deliver sales daily in the office assigned as base within the established timetable.
  • Make sure to follow the established minimum sales quota on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Track all processed sales to make sure that they are installed on a timely manner.
  • Keep Managers informed of daily sales activities and production results.
  • Attend daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly meetings as required by the Supervisor or Manager.
  • Drive company vehicles.
  • Promote compliance with Liberty’s mission, vision, values, policies, and practices.
  • Demonstrate and ensure compliance with the Customer First Philosophy, all Liberty Latin America’s policies, and procedures, including the Code of Conduct and Liberty safety standards and procedures.
  • Other functions may be assigned.

What do you need?

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree with preference in Business Administration or Marketing.

2-5 years of direct selling experience.

Previous Broadband Account Experience Required.

Other Qualifications:
  • Fully Bilingual (English and Spanish), written and spoken.
  • Knowledge on Internet Services, Nodal, Cable, and Broadband products and applications. Understanding and experience in Client Relationships and Customer Focus.
  • High self-Motivation for Sales and outstanding Closing Skills.
  • Able to work on a Multi-Tasking and Negotiation environment.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • Good skills of negotiation and persuasion.
  • Outstanding presentation abilities.
  • Computer-literate (Microsoft Office).
  • Driver license valid and in force, and satisfactory driver record.
  • Owns and drive motor vehicle that follows state laws and traffic regulations.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
