401 North Michigan/Pioneer Court, Marketing and Events Internship

Summer 2026


Responsibilities

The position is responsible for assisting with marketing, coordination, and production of events from conception to execution on the plaza located at 401 N. Michigan Avenue, Chicago Illinois, also known as Pioneer Court. Events can include but are not limited to the following:

  • Experiential Marketing Campaigns/Brand Activations
  • Festivals/Marketplaces
  • Fundraising and Not-for-Profit
  • Corporate and Social
  • Civic and Community Partnerships
  • Filming Location for Television, Commercials, and Movies
  • Art Installations and Photoshoots


Pioneer Court (Assist Director of Events):

  • Event and sales tracking.
  • Document collection and tracking including license agreements, payment, insurance, and other relevant paperwork.
  • Event logistics including site maps, timelines, and ensuring rules and regulations are followed.
  • Client relationship management.
  • Pre-event marketing including social media posts, website updates, tenant app content uploads, captivate screen uploads and other marketing.
  • Capture photos and videos during events and live posting on social media.
  • Post-event marketing recaps including all relevant recap data.
  • Other duties as assigned.


401 North Michigan (Assist Management Team):

  • Tenant event planning including event logistics, creation of marketing flyers, tenant communications, RSVP collection, and other relevant duties.
  • Conference Center rental coordination and execution.
  • Tenant services including special requests and work orders.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

The role of this position is hands-on and an extension of the Building Management Team, reporting to the Pioneer Court Director of Events. They must be able to complete a wide range of activities requiring clear communication, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail. They must have the ability to multitask, work well under pressure, anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines. This individual should have a love for special event management, provide outstanding customer service, and be an ambassador of the Zeller brand.


Hours and Compensation

Maximum of 30 hours per week at $18-20/hr.
