Job description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assists with the creation and posting of social content on all Delaware Park Casino’s social channels including, but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, X, Linked In & Threads
  • Responsible to develop and execute social media strategies that increase followers, audience engagement, brand awareness and customer acquisition across all social media platforms.
  • Always adheres to the approved budgets under the direction of the Vice President of Marketing.
  • Assists with photo shoots and video shoots as needed for social content and other initiatives.
  • Understanding of casino gaming language related to slots, table games and racing operations is preferred.
  • Provides administrative support to Marketing leadership and assists in report preparation as needed.
  • Coordinates and disseminates communications and correspondence to all departments.
  • Assists with the maintenance of Delaware Park Casino’s website including but not limited to updating promotions, hours of operation and all restaurant menus as needed.
  • Assists with working Promotions & Special Events as needed including nights, weekends & holidays.
  • Acts with discretion and maintains confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Interfaces daily with personnel from various departments.
  • Assists with the Programs Mailbox with guest inquiries – researching and responding to needs of guests.
  • Communicate (both written and verbal) with and promote positive team member and guest relations.
  • Always maintain professionalism when working with other team members and/or guests.
  • Assists the Marketing Department with any duties as assigned
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.       
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, College Degree preferred
  • Marketing experience preferred
  • Must be able to successfully complete the background check and licensing process, required by the Delaware State Lottery.
  • Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Knowledge of MS Office required, graphic art programs such as Adobe Creative Cloud a plus.
  • Ability to work directly supervised, independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in groups
  • Maintains confidentiality with regards to employee concerns and sensitive department information.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to business needs, including evenings, weekends and holidays. 
  • Ability to consistently comprehend, retain, and/or execute written, verbal and/or demonstrated directions, explanations and guidance.
