The Marketing Communications Specialist, Payments is responsible for supporting the payments related promotional and operational external / internal communications efforts across Retail and Restaurants business units globally. Translating payments offers and transformation initiatives into meaningful communication plans based on articulating clear benefits and outcomes focused on helping our customers to grow their top line, manage operational efficiency and provide unparalleled consumer experience. Significant focus on help managing payments offering transformation and innovation rollouts. Requires understanding of market trends, customer needs, competitive landscapes. Design key external products and feature messaging and positioning based on audiences, influencers, and decision makers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Communications:
    Coordinate and manage payments operational communications working closely with Payments Business Operations, Retail and Restaurant Sales Operations and Product management teams.
  • Payments offerings positioning:
    Develop clear and compelling content that differentiates our products in the market. Ability to translate complex product facts into value propositions highlighting customer benefits and outcomes.
  • Research:
    Help drive market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
  • Content Creation:
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development of high-quality marketing materials such as case studies, white papers, blog posts, and videos.
  • Sales Support:
    Provide the sales team with the necessary communications and training to effectively sell our products, including sales presentations, product demos, and competitive analysis.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with product management, sales, and other departments to ensure alignment and successful execution of marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in communications or marketing, preferably in the payments sector.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of successful product launches, product transformation and marketing communications activities.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
