Job description

We are seeking a Principal, Marketing Automation for our Broomfield, CO location.
The Principal, Marketing Automation will lead the management and execution of our marketing automation ecosystem, specifically within Hubspot and Salesforce.com (and other tools as they come on board). This role is responsible for driving scalable, data-driven marketing programs through best-in-class platform management, deep integration with Salesforce (SFDC), and disciplined lead management practices. You will play a critical role in aligning Marketing, Sales, and Revenue Operations ensuring seamless lead flow, accurate data, and measurable impact on pipeline and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Enterprise Marketing Automation ownership: Sets global standards and policy for marketing automation; defines the target-state architecture across platforms (HubSpot/Marketo, SFDC, CDP, enrichment, attribution, analytics).
  • Multi-year architecture direction for Marketing Automation Platforms: Establishes and maintains a multi-year roadmap covering platform evolution, integrations, data model governance, and process standardization across regions and business lines; accountable for long-term coherence and scalability.
  • Key Advisor to Marketing Operations VP and business leads: Serves as an expert authority for Marketing Automation; advises the VP of Marketing Operations and cross-functional leadership (Sales Ops/RevOps, Analytics, IT) on strategic investments, architecture decisions, and risk/benefit tradeoffs; leads enterprise-scale cross-functional initiatives.
  • Global remit with deep technical leadership: Directs API/middleware approach (e.g., Workato, Zapier, Mulesoft), attribution frameworks, and lead lifecycle/scoring/routing at enterprise scale; owns vendor strategy and platform governance.
  • Lead Management & Lifecycle: Architect and continuously improve lead lifecycle stages, scoring models, and routing logic, ensuring SLA alignment between Marketing and Sales for lead follow-up and conversion; driving MQL to SQL conversion improvements through data and process optimization
  • Analytics & Performance: Developing reporting frameworks to measure campaign performance, funnel conversion, and ROI; Partnering with analytics teams to deliver actionable insights to Marketing and Sales leadership and ensuring accurate attribution modelling across channels and programs

You Must Have:
  • Minimum High School Diploma/GED
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in marketing automation, marketing operations, or revenue operations
  • Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status.
  • Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.

Compensation & Benefits:
Incentive Eligible - Range posted is inclusive of bonus target
The pay range for this role is $160,000 - $202,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range may vary based on the candidate's skills, educational background, professional experience, and unique qualifications for the role.
