Job Overview Renewal by Andersen is seeking experienced Lead Generators for Door-to-Door Canvassing (lead generation). Our Lead Generators work directly with homeowners to generate firm appointment leads for our Design Consultants to conduct a homeowner-focused consultative selling experience. As a Lead Generator, your success is determined by your ability to connect with homeowners, provide an exceptional homeowner experience, and achieve outstanding results. Your responsibilities include organizing in-home consultations for homeowners to meet with our Design Consultants, addressing customer process questions, and giving a brief introduction to our innovative products and services. All of these aspects contribute to the fulfilling nature of this role. An ideal individual is persuasive, honest, and a sales professional. They are excellent communicators who can build trust and establish quality customer relationships. They can adapt to different environments and are energized by interacting with others. This position will be an excellent fit if you want to expand your skills and further your sales and marketing career. Position Type: We have both W-2 (part-time, non-benefited, non-exempt, at-will position) and 1099 (W-9) positions available. Growth potential for high-performing associates to advance to a full-time (W-2), lead role, providing support and motivation to other associates. Schedule: Part-time; 25 to 28 hours per week. Available working hours are between 10 am-9 pm, Monday through Saturday. Holiday shifts as needed. Pay: Potential target earning of $1000 to $3000+ bi-weekly (includes a base pay and commission structure). Responsibilities: -Directly reports to the Proximity Manager. -Attend daily team briefings for successful feedback and area assignments. -Travel to and cover assigned canvassing areas. -Gather information about neighborhood window renovation activity to use with future homeowners. -Build your presence as a valuable and honest contributor to homeowners in the neighborhood, driving homeowner recommendations. -Utilize training to generate leads using approved company methodology and scripting. Use scripting and best practices to lead a conversation. -Answer customer questions about goods or services, including product features and benefits. -Schedule consultations for homeowners to meet with Design Consultants. -Record and report daily canvassing activity, driving for performance improvement. -Be self-motivated, perform independently outside the office, and work directly with the public. -Organizing, planning, and prioritizing work. -Reliably navigate between cities and canvas locations. -Daily utilization of computers and other electronic devices. -Communicate precisely and accurately both verbally and in writing. -Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships. -Communicate with persons inside and outside the organization. -Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: -High school diploma or equivalent. -Reliable vehicle to commute to assigned work locations (must have current auto insurance and pass an MVR check). -Valid driver's license. -Reliable smartphone/data plan. -Ability to work weekends and evenings. -Previous canvassing/neighborhood marketing experience (preferred). -Previous sales and marketing experience (required). -Ability to communicate precisely and accurately both verbally and in writing. -Employment offer contingent on a clean, basic background check. Working Conditions: -Work primarily outdoors, canvassing and traveling between neighborhoods. -Work in varying weather conditions, including hot or cold temperatures. -Work in either very bright or very low light. -Work or be exposed to continuous sounds or noise levels. -Work with a group or as part of a team. -Work with physical stamina necessary to be both mobile and stationary for long periods, meeting and communicating with people. Physical Requirements: -Able to be move for extended periods of time (4-8 hours), traversing work locations. -Able to traverse sidewalks, stairs, and; -Able to alternate between stationary positions for extended periods of time (4-8 hours). -Able to converse, express, or exchange ideas by means of spoken word. -Able to discern, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds. -Able to seize, hold, grasp, turn, various product tools, marketing materials & equipment. -Able to transit to various work locations reliably as required. -Able to work indoors or outdoors. Supplemental Information: -Expectation to regularly be outdoors in all types of varying weather conditions. -Expectation to work varying shifts, including Saturdays and evenings. -Occasional travel is required and may include overnight stays.
