Job description

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Works with the Director of Northeast Events to manage event marketing in the Northeast Region, including:
  • Develop print and electronic event marketing materials for local events and interfaces with internal and external designers as needed.
  • Use the Salesforce Marketing Cloud system and the Outreach.io sales enablement system to generate invitation lists and distribute event marketing materials to event stakeholders.
  • Use advanced knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud to meet business needs for dynamic personalization, including, but not limited to:

    • Use of ampscript to drive personalization.
    • Creation and deployment of dynamic content blocks.
    • Envision, implement and devaluate A/B tests and experiments to enhance business outcomes.
    • Ability to evaluate marketing efforts in a statistically significant manner, to assess the effectiveness of efforts and inform future strategies.
    • Keep organized records of marketing metrics and results of past campaigns.

  • Creates differentiated marketing content by audience or segment, depending on the nature of the event.
  • Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Perplexity, or similar platforms) to support marketing and event-related content creation, including drafting email campaigns, audience segmentation strategies, and promotional messaging, with the ability to iteratively refine prompts for improved results
  • Assist in drafting marketing language, remarks, interview questions and assists with brainstorming content ideas for events.
  • Works to ensure various internal stakeholders have a clear understanding of expectations, deliverables, dependencies, risks and progress towards achieving milestones.
  • Attends and staffs various events, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills:
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience working on corporate, non-profit or political events.
  • Experience working with digital marketing, sales enablement and design platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Outreach.io, and InDesign required
  • Experience with email design and creating and sending mass email campaigns.
  • Experience with Google Analytics or similar email and web metric reporting preferred.
  • Knowledge of email design best practices.
  • Maintain full competency in Microsoft Office Suite and be able and willing to train and master other intricate database and computer applications.
  • Ability to interact with vendors professionally, while holding them accountable for the proper work product, services, or equipment for which they have been engaged.
  • Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Establishes and maintains close working relationships with colleagues.
  • Comprehend the overall objective / mission of the event and tailor their work to accomplish that goal.
  • Have a basic understanding of AIPAC's mission and the issues affecting the U.S.-Israel
    relationship.
  • Comfort working in the pro-Israel political environment required.
  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience

AIPAC is offering a competitive market base salary between $60,500 and $72,000.00 for the position. A job offer within the range will depend on how closely a candidate's skills and experience match the role's requirements. AIPAC also offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package that contributes to employees' overall total compensation package.
