Job description


SUMMARY: The Sales and Marketing Analyst is responsible for managing sales and promotional/ product analysis through various analytics systems for campaigns/channels and communicating results to relevant business units. This position is also responsible for targeted campaign design, maintenance, and optimization of the marketing database (MCIF).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Leads the operation and maintenance of the MCIF marketing database. Utilizes MCIF to identify and create targeted member campaigns.
  • Tracks overall marketing effectiveness and ROI for all marketing campaigns using a variety of systems including marketing database and provide timely results to management.
  • Manages marketing automation tools to include design, creation, and execution of campaigns within the marketing database.
  • Participates in campaign development and execution including research, segmentation, and quantification of results.
  • Performs research and provides strategic insights into the market, trends, competitors, products and potential members.
  • Pulls and analyzes sales production data monthly in support of the sales incentive program.
  • Identifies trends in campaign data that can be marketing opportunities in growing member engagement, portfolio growth or strategic insight and monitors ongoing campaign performance.
  • Actively participates in the creation of marketing strategy and campaign design.
  • Leads the semi-annual Performance Analytics marketing report process, including gathering data from various departments and communicating results to management team.

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:

  • Cross-trains other marketing staff on analytical applications and programs.
  • Works cross-functionally with other departments on strategic projects that involve marketing research and analytics.
  • Pulls analysis for the member survey platform to track member satisfaction.
  • Assists in the implementation of new products and services.
  • Conducts market research to determine new product or service opportunities.
  • Completes file maintenance of the organization’s core system on a monthly basis.
  • Assists in the maintenance and distribution of marketing materials for branch fulfillment.
  • Completes data entry and maintenance of annual marketing budget.
  • Supports the review of all marketing communications for accuracy and compliance approval.
  • Other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Education Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or related field
  • Experience Required: One (1) year of experience in a marketing analytics role
  • Experience Preferred: Three (3) years of experience in a Marketing Analytics role within a financial institution.


TRAVEL: Up to 10% local travel
