The Role

Rystad Energy is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, analytical, and adaptable Marketing Manager in Rio or Houston to join our regional marketing team. The ideal candidate for this role will be tasked with supporting the development and growth of a full-scale Latin America marketing plan, including, but not limited to, account-based marketing for key accounts, lead generation efforts, and local events. You will be part of the Americas Marketing team and work very closely with the global marketing verticals, the local commercial team and other corporate teams, joining meetings and aligning with framework and best practices to understand and align strategies.

Key responsibilities

  • Overall responsible for developing and executing Rystad Energy’s regional marketing plans (for Latin America) and campaigns for the designated key sub-markets, and adjusting and optimizing those plans by evaluating success scores
  • Develop and execute and develop the Account-Based Marketing strategy and activities for selected key accounts, as part of the Client Marketing strategy
  • Plan and execute local events of varying sizes to align with commercial objectives
  • Understand our target market and utilize marketing tactics – whitepapers, webinars, webpages, email campaigns, broadcast, partnerships –to fill the marketing bowtie and nurture incoming leads further to sales-qualified leads
  • Partner with the growth marketing team to lead high-intent paid search, conversion rate optimization, lead nurturing and technical landing pages with responsibility for local posting and develop and execute multi-touch campaigns for attribution, nurturing and expansion
  • Understand the energy market and how different changes can be incorporated into your current marketing activities
  • Identify and develop local thought leaders for enhanced content generation and community-building efforts
  • Take part in regional commercial feedback by running surveys, interviewing Sales and gathering feedback to input into the overall regional marketing strategy
  • Identify and support external events and partnerships associated with sub- region’s needs

Skills and attributes for success

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience (regional marketing, account-based marketing, product marketing, digital marketing, sales enablement, positioning and messaging, audience marketing)
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications
  • Fluent in Portuguese and/or Spanish (Portuguese preferred) in addition to English
  • Previous experience with the energy sector, consulting industry, or DaaS/SaaS
  • Proven track record of organizing and hosting webinars, events and content-based campaigns
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (all materials in English, sometimes translated to local languages for the market)
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, webinar-hosting tools, Canva, and basic videography/video editing capabilities are beneficial
  • Strategic thinker with analytical skills
  • Team player comfortable with managing multiple stakeholders with strong opinions
  • Strong multi-tasker with the ability to remain focused
  • Self-motivated achiever comfortable communicating with all seniority levels
  • Must be willing to collaborate across time zones (EMEA, AMERICAS, APAC)
  • A keen interest, knowledge and understanding of AI tools and how they can be used to enhance work and productivity

This position will be located in Houston or Rio de Janeiro or Sao Paolo and reports to the Head of Americas Marketing.
