Michael Anthony’s Cucina Italiana, located on the south end of Hilton Head Island, SC, established in 2002, operates a fine dining Italian restaurant, café, cooking school, specialty market, event, and catering services. We are an independent family-owned business in the process of expanding our operations. We are currently seeking a reliable and versatile Server to join our team!

About the Role:

Our Market Cafe and Trattoria servers bring authentic Italian flavors to life in a fun, lively, and relaxed ambiance. Catering to guests enjoying a satisfying lunch, a buzzing happy hour, or a casual artisanal pizza and pasta dinner, you will provide prompt, friendly, and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dynamic Service: Welcome guests warmly and manage a fast-paced station, balancing lunch rushes, happy hour crowds, and casual dinners.
  • Versatile Menu Knowledge: Confidently explain our casual menu, from panini and specialty appetizers to house-made pizzas, craft cocktails, and coffees.
  • Upselling & Retail Awareness: Guide guests seamlessly between the Cafe menu and our retail market section (house-made sauces, take-and-bake entrees).
  • Efficiency: Efficiently use the POS system, handle cash and card transactions accurately, and keep tables clean and turned quickly.

Qualifications:

  • Previous serving experience in a fast-paced, high-volume casual or upscale-casual restaurant.
  • Energetic, outgoing personality with a natural knack for hospitality.
  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work cohesively as a team.
