The Opportunity
The Flexographic Press Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a Mark Andy flexographic press to ensure high-quality production output. This role plays a critical part in manufacturing operations by ensuring product quality, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. A typical day includes preparing the press for production, monitoring print quality, troubleshooting equipment issues, collaborating with team members, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

  • Set up, adjust, and operate a flexographic Mark Andy press to meet production requirements
  • Perform semi-complex and critical tasks that directly impact manufacturing quality and efficiency

What you need to succeed
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of three years of experience as a press operator or operator trainee
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
  • Ability to interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and percentages
  • Proficiency with personal computer applications such as email, databases, spreadsheets, and word processing
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment including fax and copy machines
  • Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders effectively
  • Ability to manage and maintain filing systems
  • Proficiency in using hand tools
  • Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed
