Job description

Northwest Permanente (NWP) is the largest multispecialty medical group in Oregon and southwest Washington with 1,500+ physicians and 300+ administrative professionals caring for 615,000+ Kaiser Permanente members. Northwest Permanente is owned and led by physicians who earn competitive salaries, without income based on providing individual services. Our medical group comprises board-certified physicians across 50+ specialties.
We invite applications for a Board Certified or Eligible OBGYN physician to join our Salmon Creek team in Vancouver, Washington. Our ideal candidate will have a strong passion for women's health and the ability to provide high-quality comprehensive care. Joining an integrated and compassionate team of physicians, nurse midwives, and supportive clinical and administrative staff, you will provide a mix of both obstetrics and gynecology services while enjoying 24/7 backup on the L&D unit. Our Salmon Creek clinic is comprised of twelve OBGYN physicians. This position takes call at Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center where there is support from a Legacy OB Hospitalist and our Kaiser Permanente back-up system 24/7. The hospital features a Level III NICU and on-site anesthesia with an average 70 deliveries per month.

What You Can Expect:

  • Shared call coverage amongst a group of 14 physicians

  • Perform scheduled GYN surgeries at Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center

  • Working with a highly skilled, collegial, and dedicated team focused on a patient-centered approach to care

  • Access to a physician-friendly advanced Epic EMR

  • Opportunities for leadership positions within the medical group if desired

  • Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibility

We Provide You:

  • Generous automatic employer-funded pension and retirement contributions totaling 21% of clinician eligible earnings with additional employee contribution optional

  • Competitive compensation that is not based on fee-for-service model

  • Pathway for physicians to become shareholders of Northwest Permanente

  • Paid annual education leave + annual education allowance

  • Comprehensive benefits including largely employer-funded medical, dental insurance premiums, life insurance, and paid leave

  • Complete professional liability coverage provided at no cost, 100% reimbursement for obtaining and maintaining board certification, continuing medical education reimbursement, and in-house CME opportunities

  • Total Rewards value range of $319,000-$412,000 (prorated to 0.9 FTE, full-time position)

Current hiring incentives for this role:

  • Relocation allowance - up to $15,000

  • Generous sign-on bonus - $25,000

The annual salary for this position is $249,390 - $304,110 which considers an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors. In addition to the salary range above, NWP offers rich benefits that add substantial value to the total compensation package.
