Markโ€™s Leisure Time Marine is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Service Writer / Parts & Warranty Administrator to support our growing service department. This role serves as a key link between customers, technicians, manufacturers, and vendors by handling service writing, parts coordination, and warranty administration. The ideal candidate is organized, communicates clearly, and thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Requirements:

Service Writing & Customer Communication

  • Greet customers and assist with service intake for marine units
  • Create, write, and manage service repair orders accurately and efficiently
  • Clearly document customer concerns, service requests, and technician findings
  • Provide customers with service updates, timelines, and approvals
  • Explain warranty coverage, service recommendations, and repair costs in a professional manner
  • Close out repair orders and assist with billing and customer follow-up

Warranty Administration

  • Verify warranty eligibility and coverage prior to repairs
  • Prepare, submit, and track manufacturer warranty claims
  • Communicate with manufacturers regarding claim status, approvals, or denials
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty policies and procedures
