Job description

Marina Sales & Yard Manager

The Marina Sales & Yard Manager is a dynamic, multi-faceted role responsible for supporting marina operations, marine sales, customer service, and property maintenance. This position plays a key role in the sales of boats, dock systems, and boat lifts while also assisting with day-to-day marina, rental, and service operations.
This role offers a wide variety of responsibilities and is ideal for a motivated, mechanically inclined individual who enjoys working both indoors and outdoors in a fast-paced marina environment. On-the-job training is available for the right candidate.
This job requires working Saturdays during the summer months.
 
Key Responsibilities

·         Boat sales and customer support 
·         Maintain sales inventory, yard appearance and showroom appearance 
·         Organize off-site events to display/showcase new boats
·         Coordinate customer demos and test drives 
·         ShoreMaster dock and lift sales, design, ordering, and installation 
 
Secondary Responsibilities

·         Pick up, launch, haul and deliver boats 
·         Assist with boat valet
·         Support boat rentals including fueling, inspections, customer orientation, and repairs 
·         Support service and parts department 
·         Perform general facility maintenance including painting, repairs, and groundskeeping 
 
Qualifications

·         Strong customer service and communication skills 
·         Sales experience preferred 
·         Mechanically inclined with general marine knowledge preferred 
·         Ability to trailer and maneuver boats 
·         Boat license (or willingness to obtain) 
·         Computer proficiency including Microsoft Applications 
·         Strong organization and attention to detail 
·         Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently 
·         General handyman skills including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting 
·         Ability to lift, move, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
