Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Maintenance Technician to join our Haines City Building Finishing team. Responsibilities include:

Equipment Maintenance & Repair:

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production and facilities equipment to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on machinery, engines, motors, conveyor systems, and production equipment. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and coordinate with external maintenance contractors or OEM services as necessary. Repair or replace control devices, electrical systems, and mechanical components.

Facility Support:

Repair and maintain the physical structure of the establishment. Perform equipment upgrades and improvements as required. Support the TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) program by completing scheduled actions and maintaining appropriate records.

Operations Support:

Work independently and collaboratively with plant personnel to support manufacturing operations. Provide project support and leadership as needed while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:**

  • One year certificate from college, military, or technical school, plus two years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Experience with FIIX Software utilization
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push equipment over 50 lbs
  • Proficiency with MS Office and computerized diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical prints
  • Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Understanding of production processes and root cause analysis
  • Effective communication and time management skills
  • Spanish language skills a plus

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Understanding of PLC programming languages and input/output systems
  • Experience with controllers, HMI screens, and industrial robots
  • Ability to test and diagnose AC circuits (480V, 220V, 120V)
  • Experience installing PVC/CPVC fittings and replacing motors, switches, relays, and solenoid valves
  • Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) or continuous improvement experience
  • Familiarity with conveyor systems and maintenance equipment
