Job description

Job Summary

At Margaritaville Hotel Nashville, our Public Area Attendants help create the clean, welcoming atmosphere that allows every guest to relax and enjoy their stay. In this role, you'll take pride in maintaining our lobby, public spaces, restrooms, fitness center, pool area, and other guest-facing areas while delivering friendly, responsive service whenever you interact with guests and fellow team members. Every detail matters, and your work plays an important part in creating memorable guest experiences.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all public areas, including the lobby, restrooms, fitness center, pool area, elevators, stairwells, hallways, and employee areas.
  • Sweep, vacuum, dust, mop, polish, and empty trash throughout assigned areas.
  • Clean and sanitize public restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, countertops, and floors.
  • Restock restroom, pool, and public area supplies to ensure they are always guest-ready.
  • Respond promptly to guest and team member requests with a positive, service-focused attitude.
  • Inspect public areas regularly and report maintenance concerns or safety hazards immediately.
  • Keep cleaning equipment and supplies organized, clean, and in good working condition.
  • Assist with special cleaning projects and support other housekeeping responsibilities as needed.
  • Participate in cross-training opportunities and perform additional duties assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping or custodial experience is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to providing exceptional hospitality.
  • Must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the position.

  • Work indoors and outdoors, including the pool area, in varying temperatures.
