Dewberry is currently seeking a Right of Way Mapping Technician to join our Surveying and Mapping department in the Central Florida. The candidate must be able to work in a team environment as a member of a survey department, assisting in the performance of Right of Way Control Surveys, Right-of Way Maps, Sketches of Description and Boundary and Specific Purpose surveys. The position has opportunity for advancement for motivated individuals willing to learn the skills and technology required. Remote, hybrid and onsite opportunities are available for the right candidate.

· Assist the Mapping manager with all aspects of CAD and map preparation.

· Review field notes for information necessary to prepare maps.

· Prepare alignment references and Certified Corner Record (CCR) forms.

· Perform deed, plat & document research, title & easement review.

· Work in a safe manner and obey all safety regulations.

· Prepare Control Survey, Right of Way Map, Sketch of Description and Boundary survey deliverables.


· Three (3) years of CAD experience preferred.

· Must have a High School Diploma (Minimum).

· Must have strong mathematical skills.

· Must be able to communication effectively.

· Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to pass a driving record check.

· Must pass drug and alcohol test.

· Must be dependable.
