Job description

Job SummaryThe Manure Hauler is responsible for transporting manure from Kreider Farms to approved off-site locations in a timely and professional manner. Ideally the Manure Hauler will also assist in other farm operations/field work such as planting, harvesting, and spreading fertilizer. This position includes loading and unloading trucks, maintaining a clean and organized vehicle, assisting with farm operations, and supporting a team-focused work environment. Weekend availability is required.Key Responsibilities
  • Safely load (with a payloader) and unload manure trucks

  • Transport manure from Kreider Farms to designated farms or field locations.

  • Deliver materials to farmers and maintain good working relationships.

  • Clean and maintain trucks to company standards.

  • Promote teamwork and collaborate effectively with other farm personnel.

  • Follow all safety protocols and report any hazards to a supervisor immediately.

  • Support food safety and quality procedures by reporting concerns promptly.

  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor or designated staff.

Qualifications
  • CDL Class A required, with good driving record and clean MVR.
  • Prior farm experience preferred (field/crop work, harvesting, fertilizing etc.)
  • Experience using a walking trailer and other farm equipment (wheel loaders, large farm tractors, and skid steers)
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork orientation.

  • Willingness to work weekends as needed.

Schedule: 50-60 hours per week. More hours may be needed during harvest season.
