Manufacturing Project Manager

Position Overview

As a Manufacturing Project Manager, you will drive complex electronics manufacturing and process improvement projects from concept through completion. You will collaborate with engineers, production teams, and customers to ensure technical systems are delivered efficiently, accurately, and on schedule.

Whether managing test equipment builds, improving production workflows, or developing documentation, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are completed successfully and with precision.

This role requires a detail-oriented, data-driven professional who takes initiative, works independently, communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical teams, and can manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in one of the following preferred areas:

Engineering or Engineering Technology (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related)

OR

Supply Chain & Operations Management

Industrial/Manufacturing Technology Management

Operations Management / Business

Project Management

Organizational Leadership and Supervision

Skills & Qualifications

Technical writing experience with the ability to create and maintain clear, structured documentation

Proven ability to manage tasks and projects independently with minimal oversight

Proficiency with project planning tools such as Excel, Gantt charts, and scheduling platforms

Strong data analysis and continuous improvement skills

Experience with BOMs, MRP systems, or production support preferred

Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Kaizen methodologies is a plus

Key Responsibilities

Manage cross-functional projects from requirements gathering through final delivery

Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, and project documentation with minimal supervision

Translate customer and internal requirements into actionable technical plans

Coordinate procurement, fabrication, and installation activities

Manage production resources and ensure schedule execution

Ensure budgets for labor, materials, subcontractors, and project timelines are met

Support quoting efforts through labor and material estimation

Create and improve engineering documentation, SOPs, and BOMs for clarity and consistency

Collaborate with design, production, and software teams to ensure seamless project execution

Drive process improvements through metrics, analysis, and technical documentation

Facilitate communication between customers, vendors, and internal teams
