Job description

Manufacturing Tech- Rubber
Manufacturing Technicians set up, run and maintain manufacturing equipment and assembly processes. Ensuring that all equipment is working efficiently, monitoring production processes, and making adjustments or troubleshoot as needed.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Trimming flashing, extruded rubber, and bolt holes
  • Using grinders for trim work
  • Painting of flanges and small parts
  • Performing minor repair work
  • Bolt wooden blinds on finished part
  • Conducting quality checks on products
  • Assembles products and parts to meet production targets
  • Follows production guidelines and specifications
  • Operates and maintains machinery and production line equipment
  • Monitors the production line and removes faulty products
  • Participates in ongoing on-the-job training to adhere to company policies
  • Performing assigned product manufacturing and assembly tasks
  • Collaborating with other departments to complete production orders on time
  • Complying with internal policies and industry regulations
  • Follow instructions and/or direction given by supervisors to complete assigned work projects
  • Ensure work area is clean and safe

Requirements:

Required Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted. Physical capability to properly handle tooling and safely set up large pieces; including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning products. Must be able to stand, sit and bend for long periods of time.
Work Environment:
Manufacturing environment: loud noise levels, high temperatures, dirt and sand.
Required PPE: steel-toed shoes, hard hat, safety glasses, dust masks, and/or respirators.
