Overview

THE ROLE:

The Manufacturing Systems Analyst will work onsite at our state of art Innovation and Manufacturing facility in Winston-Salem, NC. Will be responsible for maintaining the availability, security, and overall effectiveness of plant technology systems. The role supports users by running access, providing daily application assistance, and leading system enhancements and project initiatives. The role ensures accurate operational data delivery, evaluates and implements system upgrades, and coordinates timelines for project cutovers. Additionally, the analyst streamlines processes across teams into a unified workflow, acting as a central point of contact for all manufacturing system needs.

HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:

  • User Support & Access: Provide functional support; triage issues; administer access requests and approvals; maintain roles and profiles according to SOPs.ย 
  • System Administration: Configure, patch, and upgrade manufacturing applications; manage backups; monitor jobs/services; ensure stable operations.
  • Project Delivery: Lead small/medium initiatives from scope through UAT, cutover, and supporting going live; coordinate internal teams and vendors.
  • Upgrade Readiness: Evaluate release notes and new version capabilities; develop rationale and timing; plan regression testing; communicate change impacts.
  • Data & Reporting Enablement: Partner with Data Analysts to map sources and expose reliable KPIs via OTBI, FDI, and Power BI; validate with Oracle/SQL queries.
  • Centralized Process & Governance: Standardize access, validation, and change procedures into one front door process; keep documentation current.ย 
  • Computer system validation (CSV): Support CSV documentation and testing; maintain audit ready evidence; align with cyber and GMP standards.Collaborate with various departments to propose and drive system improvements Support digitalization framework

Job Qualifications

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:ย 

Skills:

  • 2-4 years of experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle Fusion Cloud, with knowledge of functional setups and data flows.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience using Power tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in data analysis.
  • Familiarity with both established on-premises systems and cloud-based SaaS applications used in manufacturing and quality domains.
  • ย Proficient in writing queries in Oracle/SQL for data validation, troubleshooting, and reporting.
  • ย Proven project management skills, including planning, UAT, cutover, and hypercare; capable of leading independent initiatives with internal teams and vendors.
  • ย Excellent communication skills with strengths in documentation, training, and stakeholder management.
  • An effective problem-solver who adapts to multiple roles and can switch contexts with ease.

Experience:

  • 4 to 6 years of industry experience.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in a Regulated (GMP) environment (Nutritional, Food, OTC, Pharma, CPG) a plus.
  • Good working knowledge of cGMPs, HACCP/AIB, and FDA regulations in Food and Nutrition industries
