Summary:
 
Manufacturing Support Technician responsible for cleaning, operating, maintaining, sampling, swapping, and staging portable manufacturing equipment. Experienced in pre-weighing raw materials, housekeeping, safety inspections, equipment troubleshooting, waste handling, and maintaining a safe and compliant GMP manufacturing environment.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Set up, clean, operate, and maintain portable equipment in the Small Parts Cleaning Facility.
  • Follow established procedures and accurately document cleaning and equipment activities.
  • Pre-weigh raw materials to support manufacturing operations.
  • Perform monthly manufacturing building safety inspections, including testing safety showers and eyewash stations.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment according to cGMP, SOPs, and applicable regulations.
  • Perform general maintenance activities, including area cleaning, painting, and moving materials.
  • Monitor equipment condition, troubleshoot breakdowns, and coordinate repairs when required.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping and equipment maintenance.
  • Coordinate the receipt, safe storage, transfer, recycling, and off-site disposal of trash and hazardous waste.
  • Follow organizational policies and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Perform additional manufacturing support duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of manufacturing support operations experience, preferably in a GMP environment.
  • Experience working in highly regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of cGMP and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Knowledge of equipment cleaning, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to safely handle raw materials, recycled materials, trash, and hazardous waste.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Ability to work effectively under direct supervision and follow established procedures.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and perform repetitive physical tasks.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
