Junior Project Manager - Manufacturing
Location: Marietta, OH
Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Starting Salary: $60,000/year, with compensation based on experience
Industry Requirement: Power distribution industry experience is required.
Position Overview
We are looking for an organized Junior Project Manager to coordinate high-volume configure-to-order (CTO) and quick-ship manufacturing orders. This position follows projects from order entry through shipment while working closely with production, supply chain, engineering, quality, and logistics teams.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate CTO and quick-ship orders through completion and shipment.
  • Review sales orders for accuracy, configuration, and required information.
  • Monitor material availability, production, testing, and shipping milestones.
  • Keep order and project information current in ERP and project management systems.
  • Communicate regularly with production, supply chain, quality, and shipping teams.
  • Provide order status updates and communicate schedule changes.
  • Identify orders at risk and escalate issues that could affect delivery.
  • Assist with shipping coordination, documentation, logistics, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Prepare internal and customer-facing project status reports.
  • Help improve order tracking and scheduling processes.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, order management, customer service, inside sales support, or operations within a manufacturing environment.
