We are looking for a Manufacturing Operations Project Manager to join our team in one of today's most exciting technologies. This role will report to the Sr Manufacturing Operations Project Manager
and will be based in Fremont, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role, 5 days a week.


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develop or update project plans including information such as objectives, manufacturing technologies, equipment implementation schedules, factory integration activities, staffing and funding.
  • Ensure cross-functional project teams remain on-track against equipment deployment schedules, manufacturing readiness milestones, and capital budgets.
  • Proactively manage risks related to equipment design, commissioning, supplier deliverables, manufacturing process integration, and production ramp.
  • Achieve results through well-organized teams driving advanced manufacturing equipment development, installation, qualification, and operational readiness.
  • Work closely with internal manufacturing, process engineering, automation, facilities, quality, supply chain, and external OEM/vendor teams.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing equipment integration, automation systems, machine safety standards, and factory commissioning processes is a plus.
  • Knowledgeable of mechanical systems, electrical controls, robotics/automation, thermal processing systems, equipment reliability, and manufacturing risk mitigation strategies.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience required
  • Experience managing advanced manufacturing equipment projects, production line installations, or factory automation initiatives.
  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing operations, equipment scaling, and production capacity expansion initiatives.
  • Experience managing small and large capital equipment implementation projects.
  • Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives involving equipment development, automation integration, process validation, manufacturing ramp, and supplier coordination within fast-paced production environments.
  • Strong technical background with knowledge of advanced manufacturing systems, thermal processing equipment, industrial automation, equipment commissioning, process optimization, and production scalability.
  • Experience supporting sintering, high-temperature thermal processing, furnace integration, material processing, and continuous manufacturing process improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex equipment lifecycles from concept development through FAT, SAT, installation, qualification, and production handoff.
