Role Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for managing projects from initiation through completion, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role serves as a central coordination point between customers, internal stakeholders, and overseas Asia teams by managing information flow, timelines, documentation, and execution while following established company processes.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing and supply chain environment. This position requires strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

  • Manage projects end-to-end from kickoff through completion, including timelines, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate New Product Introduction activities from RFQ award through manufacturing and production readiness.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Identify project risks, monitor progress, and support mitigation planning to ensure successful execution.
  • Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor project progress across cross-functional teams.
  • Prepare and present project status updates and reports to sales, account management, leadership, and customers.
  • File and maintain drawings and project documentation in designated systems.

Customer & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Act as a primary liaison between customers, internal teams, and Asia manufacturing partners.
  • Review incoming information, drawings, and documentation; request clarification or additional details as needed.
  • Review and process information from Asia teams prior to release to management or customers.
  • Attend or lead customer meetings to provide project updates and document action items and meeting notes.
  • Ensure internal project workflows and company processes are consistently followed.

Operations, Analytics & Continuous Improvement

  • Create, maintain, and improve project trackers to support visibility, accountability, and execution.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis, process mapping, and workflow optimization.
  • Propose and support process improvements related to project tracking, communication, and execution.
  • Utilize spreadsheets, dashboards, and databases to organize and analyze project data.
  • Support automation and standardization of project tracking and reporting processes.
  • Maintain accurate, organized records and documentation in SharePoint and related systems.

Financial & Cost Analysis Support

  • Perform initial reviews of vendor quotations to identify missing or inconsistent information.
  • Support project-related financial analysis, including costing, tooling investments, and supplier quotations.
  • Generate internal worksheets and customer quotes for review and approval.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, operations, or supply chain environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; advanced Excel skills preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Mandarin.
