Since 2014, Waymaker Resource Group, a small-disadvantaged and minority owned business, and its global network of suppliers, vendors, and service providers have been supporting global energy, nuclear power, manufacturing, and federal projects in the areas of project management, equipment reliability, construction projects, program controls/compliance, and staff augmentation.
Senior Project Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to support engineering and capital projects at a commercial nuclear power plant. This role combines technical engineering expertise with project support responsibilities to ensure plant modifications and engineering activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and review engineering packages, calculations, specifications, and design change documentation
  • Provide technical support for plant modifications, equipment upgrades, and capital projects
  • Interface with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and Project Management teams to support project execution
  • Perform field walkdowns, troubleshooting, technical evaluations, and issue resolution
  • Support outage planning and execution activities as assigned
  • Track project deliverables, schedules, and technical action items
  • Ensure compliance with station procedures, design requirements, and Nuclear Regulatory Commission regulations
