Job description

Who You Are

TheSupervisorwill be responsible for monitoring daily projects and ensuring work centers are on track to hit key milestone dates with emphasis on both quality and productivity. Maintains a high level of safety awareness and enforcement followed up with regular documented inspections. Ability to address manpower adjustments and scheduling changes to meet customer requirements. Conducts interviews and recruiting new individuals based on manpower needs and skill set requirements for specific areas.

This position will require flexibility to work 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM schedule, with the ability to work extended 10-hour shifts (up to 12:30 AM), including overtimeand weekends as required to support production demands.In addition, there may be times when cross shift meetings require early arrival (as per our policy OT rates apply).

  • Continuous Improvement - Effectively monitors and improves processes, performance output, and working environment conditions
  • Process Management - Establish and maintain documented procedures and work instructions for processes. Continually audit and measure technical performance
  • Quality Inspection - Perform in-process audits and final quality inspections. Ensure product and workmanship meets FAC standards. Verify test results data is complete and within defined ranges
  • Safe Work Environment - Ensure operational activities comply with State (MIOSHA), Federal, and FAC safety requirements. Take appropriate action on all incident violations
  • Employee Training - Assess training needs regularly; maintain the plan for technicians required training, and cross-training efforts
  • Development of Technicians - Stretch technicians into expanded roles via assignments and documented performance reviews

What You Need

  • Associate degree in a technical discipline or related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum five years of experience in manufacturing with proven leadership abilities, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience working with ERP systems, including data management, process optimization, and system utilization to support business operations
  • Proven ability to supervise, coach, and mentor team members, including leading performance management, attendance tracking, and disciplinary processes to support a productive work environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, working directly with people
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills with the ability to generate high-quality documentation and convey complex information clearly and effectively
  • Ability to organize and present information to Customers (internal and external)
