The Production Team Member will follow the direction given by the line lead and shift supervisor. This position will rotate down the line throughout their shift.
Major tasks, responsibilities, and key accountabilities:
  • Packing and unpacking the product
  • Loading and unloading cylinders for the HPP machine
  • Stacking and building pallets
  • Labeling and code dating product
  • Sanitation duties as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Refrigeration, warehouse, production or manufacturing experience
  • MHE/Forklift experience
  • Ability to perform basic mental math
  • Ability to communicate in English (Speak, read, and write)
  • Ability to balance productivity, quality, and safety
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Ability to effectively work with others and as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a cold/wet environment
  • Ability to lift 10-35 lbs repetitively and up to 45 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to push/pull up to 250 lbs on rollers occasionally
  • Ability to stand for 10-12 hour shifts.

Working Conditions
  • This role operates in a cold/wet refrigerated environment (around 34 degrees F) located within a manufacturing, warehousing, and production type facility. Must be able to withstand cold temperatures for 10-12 hours a day.
  • This is largely a static role with standing, however, the ability to perform repetitive bending and standing up is also required.

Hourly Employees: Universal Pure facilities may process, pack, and store products containing allergenic food ingredients as referenced by FDA, team members who may come in direct contact, must be able to work with these ingredients.
